The Advanced Open edX Installation means that all components (application modules, databases and storage) are configured in high availability mode, i.e. with replicas in multiple datacentres so that infrastructure failures do not impact the service. In addition, the installation is auto-scalable. This means that it will adjust resources to accommodate variations in demand, so that periods of high utilisation do not produce "bottlenecks" that reduce system performance.
Basic customisation of the look & feel (logo, custom domain and colours) is also included.
