QUICK FACTS

Acxiom data for Germany:

  • Ideal for neighborhood-level analysis and trending.
  • Optimizes strategic planning of site location, sales expectation and conquering markets by providing you with reliable market potentials.
  • Can be enhanced to client-, prospect- or other consumer-files and used to analyze client structure or find look-a-likes.
  • Provides distributions of statistics that are important to understand markets and consumers and highly relevant for a wide range of behavior.
  • Based on reliable official statistics.
  • Easily integrates into most systems for mapping and analysis.
  • Given the fact that population data is disaggregated from official statistics using valid granular data and proven multivariate procedures, they are reliable estimates of counts and in accordance with the strict German privacy law (GDPR). Being estimates, population related data contains decimals.

Geographic Level of Aggregation

Anonymous statistical data is disaggregated to the Acxiom standard marketing areas for Germany, with no fewer than 4 households per geography. File contains data for more than 100,000 marketing areas. The marketing area level combines the German postcode, which is not very granular, with the official statistical areas that communities use for their internal planning processes and their statistical publications. If applicable, this combination is divided further to create homogenous areas with an average number of 400 households. Whereas German postcode contains about 8000 areas with an average of slightly over 10000 persons, the marketing area contains more than 100,000 areas with an average of about 700 persons. Via the postcode, marketing areas make it easy to include your own data on that level into the analysis. Via the official statistical areas it is easy to compare market data with other statistics for Germany.
