    Overview

This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for technical support with a 24-hour response time. This AMI contains Julia 1.12 on CentOS Stream 9 repackaged by Easycloud, fully configured for high-performance data science tasks. The system is built on a minimal installation of CentOS Stream 9, updated to the latest version, and includes continuous updates and support to ensure a secure and stable foundation.

Julia is a high-level, high-performance dynamic programming language designed for technical computing. It combines the ease of use of Python with the speed of C/C++, making it the premier choice for data science, machine learning, and scientific simulations.

CentOS Stream 9 is a stable, reliable, and secure enterprise Linux distribution, widely used for high-performance computing environments.

We uphold the core value of "Redefining open source value through performance and simplicity."

Guided by this commitment, this AMI is professionally repackaged by experienced engineers with a strict focus on Computational Speed and Developer Efficiency.

    Why choose this AMI?

    • Multi-Threading Enabled: Unlike standard installations, this image is pre-configured with automatic thread detection. The environment is set to automatically utilize all available vCPUs on your EC2 instance, maximizing computational throughput immediately upon launch.
    • Zero-Wait Pre-Compilation: We have pre-installed and pre-compiled the most essential data science libraries (DataFrames, CSV, JSON, HTTP, Plots). This eliminates the significant compilation delay often associated with fresh Julia installations.
    • Standardized Installation: Julia is installed in /usr/local following strict Linux filesystem hierarchy standards. This ensures a clean global environment while keeping user packages isolated.
    • Production Ready: Based on a hardened, minimal installation of CentOS Stream 9, updated with the latest security patches and dependencies.

    Highlights

    • High-Performance Computing: Pre-configured with automatic multi-threading to instantly utilize all available vCPUs.
    • Zero-Wait Data Science: Essential libraries are pre-installed and pre-compiled, eliminating compilation delays for immediate analysis.
    • Expert Support: Backed by comprehensive documentation and fast, professional technical assistance.
