Overview
API7 Cloud is a SaaS-based API management control plane built on Apache APISIX for AWS, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
API7 Cloud provides centralized management for gateway deployments running in customer-controlled environments, including Amazon EKS, Amazon EC2, and self-managed Kubernetes. Teams can manage routing, security policies, traffic control, API publishing, and observability from a single control plane while operating gateway runtimes in their own infrastructure.
This architecture helps organizations keep API traffic, request payloads, and runtime data within their own environments. API7 Cloud communicates with gateway instances through secure mTLS connections and exchanges configuration and operational metadata required for management and monitoring.
Key capabilities include centralized gateway management across regions and accounts, API lifecycle management based on OpenAPI, policy enforcement for authentication and traffic control, observability integrations, and automation support for CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
API7 Cloud supports deployment models commonly used by organizations building on AWS. Customers can run gateway runtimes alongside their workloads on Amazon EKS or Amazon EC2 and align API operations with their existing networking, security, and governance practices.
By purchasing through AWS Marketplace, customers can simplify procurement and billing while adopting a centralized API management platform for AWS and hybrid environments.
