API7 Cloud provides centralized management for gateway deployments running in customer-controlled environments, including Amazon EKS, Amazon EC2, and self-managed Kubernetes. Teams can manage routing, security policies, traffic control, API publishing, and observability from a single control plane while operating gateway runtimes in their own infrastructure.
This architecture helps organizations keep API traffic, request payloads, and runtime data within their own environments. API7 Cloud communicates with gateway instances through secure mTLS connections and exchanges configuration and operational metadata required for management and monitoring.
