Yazam Directories is part of YazamTech's advanced CDR solutions, designed to proactively secure files at network-shared locations via protocols (such as SMB, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP) and in shared directories across the organization. Rather than relying solely on detection or blocking technologies (such as Firewalls, Antivirus, Antimalware, Secure Email Gateways/Mail Relays, Web Proxies, Secure Browsers, EDR/XDR, Sandboxes), Yazam Directories applies a zero-trust Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) approach that actively removes malicious content before it can take hold. Yazam Directories continuously monitors designated directories, deconstructs files into their core structural components, validates them against established standards, and removes potentially malicious elements such as embedded scripts, malformed structures, or hidden exploits. It then reconstructs clean, fully usable files, preserving functionality and user experience while neutralizing both known and unknown threats. As network-shared directories are common locations for files from external sources, Yazam Directories' proactive CDR approach fills a critical security gap, closing vulnerabilities that traditional security tools often miss while ensuring safe, uninterrupted file usage.

Delivery details
Windows AMI with CloudFormation
This product is delivered using an AWS CloudFormation template for a consistent and repeatable deployment. During launch, the customer selects the EC2 instance type, root EBS volume size, subnet (VPC), an existing security group, and an EC2 key pair (for optional RDP access). The template provisions the instance and completes the base configuration. post-deployment setup is done through the management UI.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances).
