Delivered by Valion, an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner specialized in AI, migrations and cloud, the engagement combines a technical review of your current environment with a business-focused AI strategy. It typically takes 3 to 6 weeks, depending on scope.

How the engagement works

1. Discovery and current-state analysis: we inventory your applications, servers, databases and dependencies, review current infrastructure costs, licensing and performance, and interview business and IT stakeholders to understand priorities, constraints and compliance requirements.
2. Migration assessment and plan: we classify each workload by migration strategy (rehost, replatform, refactor, retire or retain), design the target AWS architecture aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, estimate total cost of ownership, and build a phased migration roadmap with timelines and effort estimates.
3. AI readiness assessment: we evaluate your data sources, data quality, security and governance, and run workshops with your teams to identify and prioritize generative AI use cases, such as customer service automation, document processing and internal knowledge assistants, using AWS services like Amazon Bedrock, with estimated ROI for each.
4. Roadmap and executive presentation: we present a combined roadmap of migration waves and AI initiatives, with recommended AWS services, budget estimates and next steps.
