Comprehensive Cloud Security with Strong Threat Prevention and Centralized Policies

    Reviewed on Jul 24, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security) is the combination of comprehensive cloud security, advanced threat prevention, and centralized policy management. It delivers reliable protection across different cloud environments while also simplifying how security policies are created and maintained. Overall, it helps organizations keep a strong security posture without adding unnecessary operational complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and configuration can feel complex, and some of the more advanced features come with a learning curve. On top of that, the licensing costs may be high for smaller organizations, and the management interface could be more intuitive and easier to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security) helps secure cloud workloads by preventing cyber threats, enforcing consistent security policies, and protecting network traffic across cloud environments. As a result, it strengthens overall security, lowers operational risk, and makes cloud security management simpler and more consistent.

Single Pane of Glass for Multi-Cloud Visibility and Faster Triage

    Reviewed on Jul 21, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a single pane of glass across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments. Instead of jumping between multiple consoles, I can view logs, alerts, and policy hits in one place, which speeds up the initial process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can feel overwhelming at first. As an L1, it takes some time to figure out where the logs are, how the policies map to cloud resources, and what each alert actually means.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizations migrating to AWS, Azure, or GCP often end up with different tools and policies in each environment. Cloud Firewall brings the same firewall, IPS, anti-malware, URL filtering, and application control logic into the cloud, so security doesn’t become fragmented across platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Check Point Cloud Firewall's strong threat prevention, centralized policy management, easy integration with the cloud environment, and comprehensive visibility into network traffic and security events.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial setup and policy configuration to be complex, and the management interface has a learning curve. It provides advanced threat prevention, granular access control, and excellent visibility into network traffic. The integration with public cloud platforms is smooth, making it easier to enforce consistent security policies across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The user interface is intuitive, logging and monitoring are comprehensive, and the automation features help reduce manual effort while improving overall security posture. It is a reliable solution for organizations looking to secure hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Check Point Cloud Firewall offers strong security features, the initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially for teams that are new to the platform. Centralized Cloud Security with a Learning Curve

    Reviewed on Jun 25, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Check Point Cloud Firewall strikes a balance between strong security and ease of management. It provides comprehensive visibility into network traffic and cloud workloads, making it much easier to identify potential risks and investigate issues before they become serious problems. I also appreciate the centralized control it offers over network security, allowing us to enforce policies consistently and gain better visibility into traffic flows. Additionally, the integration with other tools like Microsoft Sentinel as our primary SIEM platform and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint helps us correlate network-level threats with endpoint-level activity, which is really beneficial for our security operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and configuration can be quite complex, especially for organizations that are new to cloud security or have multi-cloud environments. Some advanced features also require a deeper learning curve before teams can take full advantage of them. When we first deployed Check Point Cloud Firewall in our environment, the initial configuration of security policies and rules sets took considerably longer than expected. For teams without prior Check Point experience, mapping existing on-premises firewall rules to the cloud environment required significant planning and expertise. A more guided, wizard-driven setup process for common deployment scenarios, particularly for AWS and Azure environments, would have reduced that initial friction considerably. Honestly, the initial setup of Check Point Cloud Firewall was one of the more challenging aspects of the overall deployment. I would rate it moderately complex, and I think it's important to be transparent about that for any organisation considering the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Check Point Cloud Firewall to secure our cloud environment, ensuring consistent security controls and better visibility into network traffic and threats, solving our challenge of maintaining network security.

Comprehensive Traffic Control with a Learning Curve

    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to manage all our network rules in one place instead of juggling different tools. It also gives clear visibility into traffic, which makes it much easier to spot and fix issues quickly. Having everything in one place saves a lot of time. Instead of jumping between different cloud tools, we can update rules, review logs, and troubleshoot issues from a single dashboard, which makes day to day work much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts feel more complicated than they need to be, especially when setting up or fine-tuning policies. It can take a bit of trial and error to get everything working the way we want. Policy setup can feel a bit layered, especially when you are trying to understand how different rules interact. It would help if there were clearer guidance or examples built into the workflow, so you don't have to rely as much on documentation or trial and error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Check Point CloudGuard Network Security to control network traffic in our cloud environment. It simplifies managing rules across tools, catches unusual activity early, and provides a single dashboard for smoother operations.
