What do you like best about the product?

I like Commvault Cloud’s centralized backup management, automated backup scheduling, and reliable data recovery. It provides a comprehensive platform for managing backups across physical servers, VMs, and applications. Its Hyperscale infrastructure and Azure cloud integration support our growing data protection requirements.

What do you dislike about the product?

I face MediaAgent connectivity issues, backup job failures, and issues related to Hyperscale storage. The initial setup was complex, particularly with our enterprise IT infrastructure and three-node Hyperscale environment. I’d like automatic MediaAgent health recovery, improved error messages, and proactive monitoring and alerts.

Commvault Cloud helps us address critical challenges with data protection, backup management, and data recovery.

What do you like best about the product?

It's very easy to use and the simplicity of the setup is great

Pricing can be expensive and storage can fill up fast

We are able to backup O365 mailboxes and OneDrive

Integration, performance and the possibility to setting all attribute

In some case the reply of the support that is not functionally.

The problem of backup old workload that the software support and in other software there are no support

Ease of configuration and maintainability.

Somewhat complexity in the subscription schema.

First copies on-premises and second copies in the cloud.

No hardware to manage, upgrades are done automatically

Automatic updates sometimes create issues we didn’t have before. Support case management could also be better.

it's a good Enterprise backup solution, Restores are fast

What do you like best about the product?

Well designed and well integrated solution in the rest of the Commvault ecosystem. Allows for better protection through having more copies of backups, and Cloud means a copy that is offsite but quickly accessible, and that can be clean-room checked for infections if that was a concern

It's a heavy cost to convince the business to accept for a solution that has nothing tangible

Better disaster recovery and business continuity

What do you like best about the product?

I like the ease of using the cloud platform with minimal need to admin. Having an off prem service available to be used with out needing a bunch of additional hardware and local maintenance is great.

What do you dislike about the product?

With a SaaS product sometimes there are some things that change in the UX so if I am not in there enough, it can take a minute to find them if not using search.

Having an additional repo with the SaaS tools I do not have to maintain.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the compatibility and ease of management of Commvault Cloud. It has extensive coverage and support for cloud applications and infrastructure, and it allows me to migrate virtual machines between on-premises and the cloud, as well as easily move Oracle databases from one site to another. I don't need more products and can implement cybersecurity themes using the same infrastructure and control panel I already use. I also value the security of AirGap Protect. The initial setup was very simple, and MIS Solutions, who are experts, helped us with the migration.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find that, although Commvault Cloud has extensive coverage, some clouds are not easy to integrate. But they are very few.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

With Commvault Cloud, I have greater coverage and support for cloud applications and infrastructure, as well as greater compatibility. I can migrate virtual machines from on-premises to the cloud and easily move Oracle databases from one site to another.

It is the most secure, commercially available, SaaS backup available.

What do you dislike about the product?

There are always features I could use that are not available yet.

The SaaS was 100% turnkey to setup and has been very easy to manage since. Our data is secure.

I like Commvault Cloud’s reliability and ease of management. It provides consistent backup and recovery, and I can monitor backup health, review reports, manage policies, and perform recovery operations from one centralized interface. I have found restores straightforward and dependable, with good visibility across our backup environment. It works smoothly alongside our server, virtualization, and storage infrastructure. Setup and configuration were smooth and well documented. It has been a stable, trusted solution for protecting critical business data and supporting business continuity.

What do you dislike about the product?

I’d like some advanced configuration options and reports to be simpler for less experienced administrators. Step-by-step wizards, built-in best-practice recommendations, and more ready-to-use dashboards could make the learning curve shorter for new users.

I use Commvault Cloud to address data protection and business continuity challenges with reliable backups, fast recovery, and centralized management of our backup environment. It significantly reduces operational risk and downtime.
