Great API Management Platform to learn and explore API and API security in different ways.
What do you like best about the product?
This platform serves as a perfect introduction to API Security. This API Management Platform is well laid out, allowing first-time users to quickly test the API vulnerabilities based on automated OWASP Top 10 API Security Vulnerabilities criteria.
It will enable users to understand API security concepts swiftly as it provides information about whether or not to use APIs for security reasons based on the results of the provided API security tests by the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can claim the vendor only after I claim all of their APIs. Whether all related APIs should be declared to claim their vendor for consistency, it can sometimes be very time-consuming when a vendor has countless unclaimed APIs related to it.
In addition, there should be some additional features to narrow the search list of unclaimed APIs, especially when there are tens of thousands of them and going over page by page can be very complicated since sometimes doing that causes buffering problems.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform has benefitted me in filtering out APIs that are obsolete terms of that. Some do not maintain valid API documentation, endpoint servers or parameter request returns are no longer properly functioning, and endpoints need to be more secure as some do not use the SSL/TLS encrypted https format for their endpoints.
The automated OWASP Top 10 API Security Vulnerabilities criteria also allow me to quickly determine whether the APIs are secure. It will enable users to narrow the scope of security testing by allowing them to select single or various vulnerability options. Evaluating these API vulnerabilities is essential for users because these vulnerabilities can increase the security risk and make the API insecure for future use. It can lead to several consequences beyond violating the security goals of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.

The platform is easy to use, the pages are clear and user-friendly. You can test and manage APIs in the platform.

Find and use APIs by industry, vendor, technical needs
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed using this platform. As a student, I find it helpful to be able to scan projects and discover APIs because sometimes you want to learn how a specific feature was implemented in a particular project and which APIs were used to facilitate a task. This feature can also be accessed through the IDE plugins, but I haven't had a chance/need to try that.
The APIs are pre-programmed to run and test multiple end-points in one click. The ability to test APIs within the platform is handy because otherwise, I almost always have to write a short python script to try an API. Additionally, the comparison feature (for API responses) allows one to choose the suitable API for their needs in short time.
From a security point of view, I was able to run pre-designed security tests which is great feature for someone with little knowledge of security testing. The test can also be customized depending on one's needs. Moreover, one can put an API on continuous monitoring to automatically run tests according to a pre-defined schedule and generate some nice test reports. Overall it is a great platform.

The GUI and API recommendations can be improved further. I also had a bit of trouble scanning some projects, which did not work as great as I had expected, and I need to look further into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to find some APIs for an AI use case, and I looked at various APIs. The best part was I could quickly test those from within the platform.

The API testing tool is simple and quick to use. The platform has many API management features, including executing and testing APIs directly from the platform. It’s a complete marketplace with discovery, audit, and security features.

I didn't find anything to dislike. For a new user, certain features like the security testing and network based API traffic discovery can be a bit complicated to use.

I mainly used it to test and evaluate free APIs. I mostly find a suitable API for my use cases as the API collection is extensive. There are additional features, like the source code scanner and terms of service analyzer, which makes it very useful for the lawyers. The comparison feature (for API responses) and ability to use the APIs within the platform is very useful.

You can find various kinds of APIs under a single platform. The platform provides the capability of security testing of APIs based on OWASP top 10 and testing the new APIs.

Could improve in keeping the API keys and documentation up to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever I needed to search an API, the first source would be the API discovery platform. It helped me in finding the best and secure APIs. Anyone could test the open-source APIs easily.

GUI, which is very easy to use, and students can efficiently perform their research task

From my perspective, it looks great. However, I would like to have some educational components included. Say, few projects that students can do using your platform. Rest, from a research perspective, it is great as of now.
Best API testing and security platform with thousands of public APIs for easy exploration
What do you like best about the product?
This platform has number of API management features, such as executing/testing APIs directly from the platform without any keys or configuration. They all took are of the underlying authentication/authorization. Of course there’s limitation on how many and which APIs you can try. It’s a complete marketplace with discovery, audit, and security features. They have added a simple API testing tool as well (not exhaustive like Postman), but very useful for quick testing.

Their security suite is massive. OWAP top-10 and CIS top-20 test cases all automated. However, you can only run these tests if you upload APIs. For a new user, certain features like the security testing and network based API traffic discovery can be a bit complicated to use.

I mainly used it to test and evaluate third party/free APIs. This API collection is extremely rich. I always find a suitable API for most of my use cases. There are additional features, like the source code scanner and terms of service evaluator, which makes it very useful for lawyers. The comparison feature (for API responses) and ability to use the APIs within the platform is very useful.
One of the best API platform’s for high-school students to learn about APIs.

This platform provides a vast number of APIs and categories to explore API functionalities. It has great API testing and management tools that even high school students can understand and learn from. I believe there are no other API tools that provide such learning opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find anything that is really dislikable about functionalities. However, if I would pinpoint something that I don't like is that the home page is not very appealing. Overall, the user interface is easy to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far I am just using the platform to test and run different APIs and see what results I get. One major benefit I noticed was for university students. There is one API that when you put in your class/course name it is able to tell where the rooms, timings, and how long will that course last.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Some of the APIs from the vendors do not work, so be patient.

What do you like best about the product?
A variety of API administration functions are available on this platform, including the ability to execute and test APIs without the need for additional setups or keys. The underlying authentication and authorization were something they all took. There are restrictions on the kind and number of APIs you may use, of course. It is a full marketplace with capabilities for discovery, auditing, and security. They have also developed a straightforward API testing tool that is excellent for short testing but is not as comprehensive as Postman.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have a robust security system. Everything I find it so useful and all the features I used was important. so I would not like anything to be updated or changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was mostly used by me to test and evaluate open-source and free APIs. This set of APIs is rather comprehensive. For the majority of my use cases, I can always find an appropriate API. The platform's comparison tool (for API replies) and ability to leverage APIs are both quite helpful.

There is nothing to dislike. There are many features that TeejLab provides so there is nothing such to say I did not like anything.
