Digital Guardian has an enhanced monitoring in all perspective between Web and Application usage across a corporate device

It has conflict with multiple applications

It has a improved process to work in detecting outbound movement of sensitive files

Very Comprehensive Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of potential and an unlimited amount of monitoring capabilities for data loss prevention
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex to learn and fully understand capabilities. Scaling reaches a point where more support is almost required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preventing my team from extracting confidential corporate and client data.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is one of the easist to navigate in terms of finding the events and insights you want to find. So many other places showing you things that aren't actionable, and here Fortra is clearly devoting resources not on some fancy framework but rather showing you what a SoC actually uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Well, the alarm summary could do a bit better with prioritizing alerts vs just displaying all the info DG has collected, but it's still tidy enough to parse out quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to apply fine tuned policies and seeing realtime those policies being enforced via the excellent logging.
Navigating to Fortra's Digital Guardian is complex.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Fortra's Digital Guardian is that information is provided via analytics, graphs, etc. With that, it is much more understandable.
One more I like about Digital Guardian is the deployments are made easier since distribution servers are already part of the console.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is complex when you are still starting.You may need a documentation of assistance from the professional services, but once you are able to understand it, it is easy to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems that Fortra's Digital Guardian solves is controlling the data as well as reducing data loss. Some of the actions in the DG console may need minor enchancements.

Classification and Tagging feature. Where in we can customize more interms of our detection.

No option for DGMC to scale up vertically. Limited Agent connectivity support to 100k

Sensitive data monitoring for the whole fleet of 700k machines globally and reports for our stakeholders.

What do you like best about the product?
Fortra's Digital Guardian has been very helpful in my work. It has been very reliable for me to do my task especially maintaining confidenciality and system. As a DLP DG cloud support, we are able to manage and do our task with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Forta can be enhanced and add more features. Vertical scaling is needed.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a complete solution with management interface and reporting gives detailed view of protection which is scalable to a large enterprise environment and provides the protection required for brand, IP, and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires large amount of infrastructure for enterprise deployment with DMZ for communications to agents anywhere. The setup was rather complex but we didn't look at implementation in the cloud. The management was not difficult and upgrades were rather uneventful. Professional services was good.

Provides DLP and USB controls to protect IP, sensitive data loss, and brand protection.

Integration between our cloud storage provider with the data protection from Fortra's Digital Guardian is easy. It has successfully protect our data storage from data loss.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing that I dislike about Fortra's Digital Guardian. It may have some bugs or issues, but it all has been fixed qucikly by the dev team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Controlling and reducing data loss is one of the many useful features by Fortra's Digital Guardian software. It will filters and inspect the data flows and making sure all the data transfer is following policies that we have sets.
