Exceptional AI-Powered Search with Real-Time Learning and Merchandising Control
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Marqo is that it delivers an exceptional search experience to our shoppers because they trained an LLM directly on our catalog and used real customer interaction data. Marqo does not rely on static rules or a generic model. It continuously learns from how our customers browse, click, and purchase, and applies that intelligence across every query and product in real time. My solution engineer is always there to answer questions and is a great resource.
The integration is super easy to set up and the system understands why products convert, not just which ones have historically sold. New products, long tail queries, and evolving search behavior perform strongly from day one. We saw measurable improvements in search relevance, conversion rate, and revenue per search very quickly after implementation.
What really elevates Marqo beyond other solutions is the merchandising studio. For example, during a recent seasonal campaign, we wanted to ensure a hero product appeared prominently for high intent queries without disrupting the overall AI optimization. Using Pinning and Campaign Rules, we were able to strategically position that product at the top for specific searches while still allowing the LLM to dynamically rank the rest of the results based on performance signals.
It gave us precise business control without overriding the intelligence of the model. We could align discovery with marketing priorities in minutes, monitor impact in real time, and adjust instantly if needed. No engineering tickets, no complex workflows.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to critique. The platform already delivers strong performance, explainability, and control. What stands out most is the speed of innovation. New capabilities and optimizations are introduced consistently, which reinforces our confidence that we are working with a category leader in search.

A Solid start with Marqo Cloud
What do you like best about the product?
The thing i appreciated most about Marqo Cloud is how it lets our team bypass the heavy infrastructure overhead typical of advanced search setups.
Thanks to managed, cloud-native nature, we were able to deploy vector and image based search capabilities very quickly.
The free demo credits allowed us to build a small prototype internally and the pricing model appears reasonable even for growing enterprise.

What do you dislike about the product?
While marqo cloud has a lot of potential, i feel their customer support is still developing. Responses are sometimes slow, and it would be great to have more structured support channel.
One thing to keep in mind is that since it's fully managed service, moving larger datasets or migrating away later could be tricky - there's a bit of vendor lock-in to consider.

The primary problem we faced was that our "search" experience for users was weak - simple keyword matching, no ability to understand image queries, low relevance and high abandonment when users did not find items quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
It integrates advanced search functionalities without the overhead of managing complex infrastructure
What do you dislike about the product?
In case of migration or data shifting , it can be challenge as it has a Vendor lock-in making it a managed service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While serving any ecommerce website or application it understand the context by using its ML feature and is not based on traditional keyword search.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Marqo Cloud,is that its pricing. It gives a lot of demo credits for free,We can use this demo credits to build an small application easily. And its pricing is also really good even for the bigger enterprises.Its features like multimodal search, composite querires, ranking modification,context seach, bulk operations,etc
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much which I dislike about Marqo Cloud, But one thing is that there is no proper customer support yet.

Marqo Cloud solves the problem of scalable searching by using ai powerd seacrhing instead of keywords seacrhing. It saves time on infastructure management
