What do you like best about the product?

I really like ManageEngine ADAudit Plus for its super easy and idiot-proof UI/UX. The simple aesthetics, easy-to-pull-out menus, clear workflows, and easy investigation make it comfortable for junior administrators. It's also cost-effective and stands out as a premium Make In India product. The initial setup was very easy, seamless, and had no downtime, definitely a 10/10 experience for me. I also find the identity management features like AD Management, ID Federation, cleanup tools for aging IDs, and password management very convenient. The alerts and escalation setup is very easy to use which adds to the product's overall utility.

What do you dislike about the product?

ManageEngine ADAudit Plus has plenty of room for improvement. It's not yet a full-blown Identity Management Solution. I wish it had AI-based prediction of ID abuse. It could be better at connecting to other enterprise systems using Microsoft Credentials and logging those activities both internally and externally, including on the cloud. The lack of SSO and MFA is also something that could be improved. Right now, it's pretty tied to just Microsoft products, but as LDAP evolves to the cloud, the product should be future-proof for cloud logins, social logins, SSO, and MFA.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use ManageEngine ADAudit Plus to manage multiple ADs and hybrid IDs, prevent ID abuse, and log events and access points. It makes AD management and ID lifecycle easy with user-friendly interface and cost-effectiveness. It also helps with incident management and alert setup, aiding in efficient investigation.

What do you like best about the product?

It helps us stay compliant with audit goals and assists us in troubleshooting failed login attempts.

What do you dislike about the product?

Wish you could aggregate all login methods in one log for analysis and reporting with filtering options.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Auditing is a compliance issue, so this helps stay compliant. Beyond compliance it provides benefit to troubleshooting failed login attempts and user lockouts to determine where they are happening to assist the end user better.

What do you like best about the product?

I find ManageEngine ADAudit Plus invaluable for AD security auditing in our compliance work. I love the real-time visibility it gives me into logins, permission changes, and GPO activity. This kind of audit trail used to take hours manually, and now everything is clear and organized, so there's no more digging around in event logs. The instant alerts for unusual activity or failed logins keep me informed without needing to constantly monitor the system. Knowing the current state of the domain and getting notified of any unauthorized changes in minutes gives me great confidence. The setup was very easy too, thanks to the step-by-step setup wizard.

What do you dislike about the product?

The reporting interface could be more intuitive. Mainly the filtering needs improvement. More than just better filters, I'd really want a proper report builder where I can drag and drop the fields I care about.

ManageEngine ADAudit Plus gives me real-time visibility into Active Directory, with instant alerts for unusual activity. It replaces tedious manual log reviews, saving me time and ensuring I catch critical issues quickly, providing confidence in my compliance efforts.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the visibility in a great format and dashboard without a lot of manual effort. The alerts, reporting, and audit trails make it much simpler to investigate changes, monitor account behavior, and support compliance requirements. Initial setup was quite easy, and we did it by ourselves without any extra implementation service. The support was helpful when we needed assistance.

Nothing in particular to report. Overall quite satisfied with the solution.

I use ManageEngine ADAudit Plus to monitor and audit Active Directory and Entra ID, providing audit trails, alerts, and reporting. It enhances compliance, troubleshooting, and security monitoring. The easy-to-use dashboard gives great visibility with minimal effort, simplifying compliance and security management.

What do you like best about the product?

The centralized visibility into Active Directory activity is the biggest strength. ADAudit Plus makes it easy to track things like logon/logoff history and quickly respond to internal audit or security requests without having to pull data from multiple sources.

The main limitation is that it can take some time to fully understand and optimize all of the available features during initial setup. While onboarding is straightforward for core use cases, there’s a learning curve if you want to take advantage of more advanced capabilities or integrations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

ADAudit Plus is solving the challenge of quickly accessing reliable Active Directory audit data, especially for user activity like logon/logoff history and account-related events. Before implementing it, gathering this information required manual effort across multiple systems, which was time-consuming and inconsistent.

What do you like best about the product?

Lots of canned reports, very customizable for other reports and alerts.
I use it to keep track of what users are making big file changes and deletions.

What do you dislike about the product?

Can have a steep learning curve for making custom reports and alerts, BUT the tech support is VERY helpful and responsive when I have run into issues making my own alerts.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It keeps an eye on user file share activity, Domain Admin activity, and users being added to high risk groups. I'll get emails when these happen. These and other alerts I have setup keep me informed about my large enviroment.

A big issue for me I keeping an eye on file share size and managing who is using the most space. ADAudit tracks who is creating new, and copying files.

The product is accurate and easy to use.

I would like to see continued research and development into this product.

It aids my staff in identifying stale accounts, locked out accounts and potential security risks.

Performance can be a bit slower when working with very large environments and when handling historical data.

ADAudit Plus helps us monitor Active Directory changes, track user activity, and receive real-time alerts for critical events. This improves security, simplifies troubleshooting, and supports compliance requirements.

What do you like best about the product?

We use ManageEngine ADAudit Plus to monitor and alert on all of our Active Directory instance. we have 4 production instances and 4 test/dev instances covered. ADAudit Plus is especially helpful with compliance related tasks as well as monitoring and alerting on sensitive groups, users, and other changes to Active Directory. It's easy to use and a great tool for the price point.

What do you dislike about the product?

While there are many canned reports available, there are limited options for custom reports.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Compliance monitoring and reporting is much easier.

What do you like best about the product?

I like being able to report on failures, which is useful for tracking log-in issues. The interface is mostly understandable, which is helpful for navigating through the software.

What do you dislike about the product?

The upgrade process is fiddly.
