AI-driven investigations have transformed alert triage and now cut threat response to minutes
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
Zaun allows us to respond to threats with an average MTTR of 5 minutes. Alerts are completed and fully analyzed by AI before being sent to us for review, ensuring we only receive alerts about real threats requiring our attention. We no longer have to log into other platforms, retrieve logs, run manual workflows, or perform any other tasks we previously had to do to enrich the alerts, as Zaun automates all of that for us.
What is most valuable?
The detail in which the AI investigates the alerts, runs the workflows we've set up for each type of detection, and its ability to bring in context from other data sources has been invaluable. There wasn't another platform on the market that had the same quality alerts and catalog of integrations.
What needs improvement?
This is rare to say, as there are always areas to improve for all products. However, whenever we have a suggestion, question, or feature request, it is implemented into the platform or further researched with such speed that it hasn't been matched by any other vendor we've had or done a POC with. They truly are fanatical about the customer and have a relentless focus on innovation.

I have been using the solution for over a year.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We switched because our previous vendor only allowed a few integrations and only did pass-through alerting. We weren't getting any value from the product, as all the same data was available in those platforms directly. There was no context or correlation added from our other data sources or workflows that could be run to enrich alerts.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Zaun had the best pricing out of all the vendors we evaluated while still reaching the same level of quality, and in most cases, exceeding in all metrics over the other vendors.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We looked at Prophet Security, Red Canary, and Expel.
What other advice do I have?
If you want a responsive engineering, support, and triage team that rivals the best of the best in the cybersecurity space, I would highly recommend that you engage with Zaun.
