Best analyzer with custom sandboxing in the market
What do you like best about the product?
It provides complete visibility by monitoring all the ports and protocols, leverages custom sandboxing, and allows you to correlate advanced threat events and prioritise your response. They have a "Safe-Live mode" to analyse multistage downloads, URLs, command-and-control, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been using the Deep Discovery Inspector for some time; the problem that arises with Deep Discovery Inspector is when it's not connected to the internet since it cannot upload the logs to the Threat Management Services Portal (TMSP) for further analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had issues correlating multiple security events and better sandboxing capabilities. Deep Discovery Inspector helps us to leverage custom Sandboxing and also standards-based Advanced Threat Intelligence Sharing (e.g. STIX, TAXII and YARA) keeps you ahead of threats while Trend Micro Deep Discovery automates the sharing of threat information across security solutions, strengthening multiple links in the security chain simultaneously.

It works but... need to improve service
What do you like best about the product?
good threat detection capabilities, can be integrated with SIEM with relative simplicity, integrated sandbox .
What do you dislike about the product?
Sandbox more complicated to handle than expected and required too much processing power. Support not as effective as required, takes too much time to obtain the required answers and the whole network was impacted by the processor consumption
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
detection of vulnerabilities in apps facing the customer, intrusionpreventionand detection, preventing unauthorized commands on the system. It increased the protection of pur users,their data and the integrity of our service

What do you like best about the product?
It provides valuable information. When we dig into the incident, it also provides the MITER ATTACK relevancy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because honestly, it is soo much expensive and has a fundamental user Interface. This makes it useless sometimes. it is also has a prolonged speed even with the high-end server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes, this provides me with the network understanding to capture some ransomware travel over the network and another literal moment of viruses in the internal network. but I think DDI generates more false positives.

Sandboxing of the tool is good and prevents the breaches by early detection

The costing is high and the interface is not that user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
TM Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI) provides usable dashboards such as threats at a glance, top affected hosts, threats summary, scanned malicious traffic by protocol.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that for our solution version, it was not yet capable to do SSL decryption, although I think the newer appliances are now capable to decrypt SSL traffic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a network sandbox, I decrypt network traffic and feed it to the DDI for analysis to detect any ongoing attacks if any. It also helps analyze and profile the traffic for baselining and highlighting suspicious or malicious traffic activity.

What do you like best about the product?
Deep security avliable in both physical or virtual appliance which not bound users to buy appliance
What do you dislike about the product?
We already using trend micro server protect for Linux but it is just traditional, we need to buy additional licences with appliance which effect the cost

It helped my organization to stop malware and ransomware virus. We saved org data by 99%

What do you like best about the product?
Deep discovery inspector discovers and prevents known and unknown threats. Highly appreciated product with a 24/7 monitoring solution to stop breaches like ransomware.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need some improvement in the console and settings to be user-friendly for easily capable settings and options to understand the console. Add more security integration features like notification and alert-triggering channels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advanced technology and features like behavioral monitoring and sandboxing for analysis are the functions of trend micro-deep discovery to defend against threats.
Value and security is paramount
What do you like best about the product?
The software was comprehensive and quick to identify possible threats. Along the lines of other software cost the 360 protection was far above others as for value.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a tech individual and did not get the time to devil into the vast amount of power this software can actually do so not being educated enough to take full advantage

The software is protecting servers we have multiple clients on saving me from the headaches of lost date or even worse a economic responsibility I could be exposed to

Trend Micro has the best security protection software, "Deep Discovery Inspector." Deep Discovery Inspector provides a wide range of visibility over malicious activities. Implementation is easy and time-saving. Deep Discovery Inspector support multiple customer sandbox image. Deep Discovery Inspector can be deployed in both way hardware and virtual. Deep Discovery Inspector detects targeted attacks, unknown malware, and hacking tools in network traffic. Deep Discovery Inspector has a feature that can monitor all the ports and analyze 100-plus protocols.
What do you dislike about the product?
When Deep Discovery Inspector is not connected to the internet, then we need to build a Smart Protection Server so the deep discovery inspector can update components from it. Due to no internet connection, Virtual Analyzer has to analyze more files because it can't connect to the GRID. Deep Discovery Inspector can't update license information from the Trend Micro PR Server without the internet.

Deep Discovery Inspector has multiple detection techniques for threat protection. With the help of Deep Discovery Inspector, it's possible to monitor all the network traffic. Deep Discovery Inspector has a flexible deployment option in it. The benefit of Deep Discovery Inspector is that we can customize sandbox analysis with our own. Deep Discovery Inspector quickly detects advanced malware, threats that typically bypass traditional security defenses and exfiltrate sensitive data.
