Arena PLM: A Scalable, Well-Organized Platform for Growing Teams

    Reviewed on Jul 27, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
We moved on from a tool that our organization had outgrown. Arena’s PLM tool capability will allow us to continue growing without the restrictions of a more basic tool. Having different spaces within the tool for items, requests, changes, suppliers, files, and so on means you know exactly where to look for the file or data you need, while also avoiding being overwhelmed by too many results.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any PLM tool, there’s a learning curve to really understand how to use it. Arena has supported this well with training videos, but the platform still requires discipline and staying up to date with the training, as it isn’t always intuitive. We’ve also had the opportunity to customize certain processes and fields; however, there have been occasions when we haven’t been able to make the adjustments we requested.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena helps us with process control and document management. It ensures processes are followed, while still supporting us in moving through those processes with speed. Arena’s deployment of working revisions and revisions that are under review also ensures all users understand the status of the file they’re viewing.

User-Friendly Integration and Support, but Limited for Combined PLM/QMS Linking

    Reviewed on Jul 23, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like Arena because it’s more user-friendly integration. It’s also very easy to link processes with each other. Arena staff is supportive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Arena is not capable enough to run both PLM and QMS together. For example, We created one batch of subassembly, It used in another subassembly, you can't be able to link the batch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena is currently helping us to track the design history files. It helping us for all the production related documents, NCR, Batch release. Training docs also captured on Arena and easy to create the training plans.

    Reviewed on Jul 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The attributes that I like best about Arena are the Cloud-based architecture, support, user interface, and integration with Onshape. Additionally, no IT infrastructure is required making Arena a great choice for firms looking for a PLM system that is robust, cost efficient, and scalable. Implementation was rapid and well supported, we feel good about choosing of Arena as our PLM platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a new organization, we have not encountered any limitations as of this review that negatively impact our operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our initial need was project document version control. The Onshape integration and cloud-based architecture gave us a rapid, cost-efficient implementation. The intuitive user interface also made deployment quick and straightforward. Next, we plan to focus on key vendor integration.

Centralized PLM/QMS That Streamlines Collaboration and Traceability

    Reviewed on Jul 20, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Arena PLM & QMS is that it keeps product data, change management, and quality processes in one centralized system. It makes collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams much more efficient. The cloud-based platform is easy to access and simplifies working with external partners. It also provides strong traceability, which is essential for managing complex hardware products and engineering changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is that the user interface feels somewhat dated and could be more intuitive, especially for new users. Integrations with other engineering and business tools often require additional effort or customization. Performance can occasionally slow down when working with large datasets or complex product structures. Finally, adding more AI-driven features, such as smarter search, automated change impact analysis, and workflow recommendations, would further improve the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena PLM & QMS helps us manage product data, engineering changes, and quality processes in a single, centralized platform, ensuring everyone works from the latest information. It has improved collaboration between our engineering teams, manufacturing partners, and suppliers while reducing errors caused by outdated documentation. The platform's traceability and structured workflows have shortened engineering change cycles, reduced costly manufacturing mistakes, and improved compliance. Although the investment is significant, the time savings, lower risk of production issues, and faster product releases provide a strong return on investment.

Thorough, Customizable Layout That Gets Easier the More You Set It Up

    Reviewed on Jul 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The layout is thorough and customizeable. There are a lot of options for fields to add based on your needs and navigating the website is easy once you understand how it's organized and what to do. For example, using an asterisk when searching a part number if you want to do a broader search on a part family is helpful. And it truly is a software where the more time you spend setting it up, the easier it is to use later on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of it is a little buggy at times. With one service that my company used, it doesn't have a great integration with Altium, but that could also just be that the other company wasn't customizing their integration enough to fit our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helpful for traceability and organizing designs, drawings, datasheets, and all sorts of other documents.

What do you like best about the product?
Start menu is friendly user but needs more tool to improve your productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs more tools and better AI integration. I’d also like a way to see all of my pending tasks directly on the home view, because right now not every task shows up there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Right now, I don’t remember.

Intuitive, Highly Configurable, and Great for Collaborating with Manufacturing Partners

    Reviewed on Jul 16, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It is fairly intuitive for most users. It is highly configurable to meet most of our needs. It is great that we can have our manufacturing partners in the system to collaborate on changes and to share up to date revisions on our products.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ECN module doesn't allow for multiple working revisions which limits its usefulness as we have many concurrent changes to process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to remove ambiguity about exactly what materials should be used for building our products. Saving me time and energy having to try and maintain multiple spreadsheet files for different suppliers.
