ManageEngine UEM, Great Products at a Great Value!

    Reviewed on Oct 14, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of products and services you get with UEM compared to the cost is a great value. I've used quite a bit of the products, like patch management, configuration pushes, OS imaging (remote imaging too), reporting. It's been an essential product we are looking to move most of our brands to. Their customer support is always very helpful and if they don't know the answer right away, they will find the answer and get back to me. We've used this for device management too and is a great tool to help for budgeting hardware refreshes since it integrates device warranties. Another nice touch with device management is the ability to do a remote device wipe for a fast redeploy option.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small things, like menu items not alphabetized to find options faster, can't create dynamic groups by search tags or location. This is a big one if you have a bunch of machines named the same for like POS related items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Endpoint Central, managing devices across multiple restaurant brands and locations meant juggling different tools and a lot of manual work. Endpoint Central gives us one console to patch, configure, monitor, and support devices at every site. Patching is now automated and consistent, which keeps us more secure and helps with compliance requirements. Real-time alerts let us catch issues like offline devices or full hard drives before they affect store operations. Remote access and the command shell mean we can fix most problems without sending someone on site, which saves time and travel. OS imaging and remote wipe make it fast to redeploy devices when a store needs a replacement. The warranty integration and reporting also give us better visibility into our hardware, so we can plan and budget refreshes instead of reacting to failures. Overall, it lets a small IT team support a large number of locations efficiently.

Centralized Endpoint Management That Simplifies Day-to-Day IT Administration

    Reviewed on Oct 11, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Endpoint central provides a centralized features for endpoint management, like a patch deployment, software installation, remote troubleshooting and security policy management. In my usage experience remote troubleshooting feature are very useful for my day-to-day IT administration purpose. It reduces manual effort and simplifies routine IT operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have faced some issues in end point central while deploying windows patches. Patch deployment can sometimes be slow and not responsive, it shows like "not yet to start", otherwise it is a best one for managing end point assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main challenges I faced was troubleshooting users’ systems remotely. When I need to connect to a user’s laptop, the only options are AnyDesk or UltraViewer, which takes a huge amount of time. I also need the end user’s AnyDesk ID, and I can connect only if the user accepts the request; otherwise, I can’t connect. But in Endpoint Central, I can connect without any privilege.

What do you like best about the product?
I like most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its centralized management of endpoints, which makes it easier to monitor devices, deploy patches, manage software, and enforce security policies from a single console. The automation features reduce manual work and save time, while patch management and endpoint visibility help improve security and compliance. The interface is user-friendly, and its reporting capabilities make it easier to identify issues and track remediation. Overall, it is a useful solution for improving IT operational efficiency and endpoint security.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement in ManageEngine Endpoint Central is that some advanced configurations and troubleshooting tasks can be complex and require additional technical knowledge. Patch deployment and software distribution may occasionally need manual intervention when issues occur, and the dashboard can feel overwhelming when managing a large number of endpoints. Improving the troubleshooting guidance, simplifying advanced settings, and providing clearer error messages would make the overall experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine Endpoint Central helps solve the challenges of managing multiple endpoints, keeping systems updated, and maintaining security across the IT environment. It simplifies patch management, software deployment, remote troubleshooting, and endpoint monitoring through a centralized console. This reduces manual effort, saves time, and helps identify and remediate security vulnerabilities more efficiently. It also improves visibility into endpoint status and helps maintain consistent security policies across devices, making IT operations more efficient and secure.

This service is utilized for primary security controls and patch management at an unbeatable price.

Versatile and Well-Documented, but the UI and Apple Setup Take Time to get used to.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very versatile and supports a wide range of use cases. There’s also support for almost every platform, and if something isn’t supported yet, you can submit a case and they’ll most likely add it. The UI can feel like a maze at first, but once you get past the learning curve, it’s very usable.

Its easy to setup on your own local servers and has a lot of documentation which is very nice
What do you dislike about the product?
That sometimes configurations fail and setting up the Apple business and apple device management
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That problem of not being able to easily gather info on your managed devices is something Manage Engine helps with a lot. It collects a lot of information and presents it in a nice, helpful UI. Exporting that data is easy too, which is really helpful at times.

What do you like best about the product?
Software deployments work well and let me control deployments based on my filter criteria. The configuration options also made it possible for me to migrate my domain policies, so I now have everything centralized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inventory categories. You are always required to link the name of the software + specific version. When a new version of the software comes out, this new one is discontinued.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature for me is the patch management. It is able to easily identify patch compliance and configure an automated patch deployment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built in reporting has some areas for improvement. Specifically around custom report creating. This can be a little cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch compliance and custom package deployments were the two biggest challenges we had coming from our old platform. Endpoint central has the best patch management feature set I've used. The custom configuration deployment is fantastic as well. Very easy to use and the out of the box templates that it has are very good.
