ConvertAPI helping us to solve the problem of downloading TA from ERP. With this product integration, agents can proceed smoothly

What do you like best about the product?

I created a test N8N flow and integrated Convert API into the process. Everything functioned perfectly. Now, I'm just waiting for clients to purchase the services so I can keep using it.

What do you dislike about the product?

One downside is that there is no option to pause or temporarily put the account on hold when the service isn't needed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using it to create a book on demand workflow. I will be using this service with some of my clients.

The service lacks more affordable package options. I was hoping for a plan that would suit users who expect only a few conversions per month.

It mostly saves time, as all the features I need are available, so there's no need to search for alternatives.

ConvertAPI is very straightforward to implement and use, offering an impressive variety of file converters and a broad selection of integration platforms. The documentation is excellent, and the sandbox environment makes getting started even easier.
Customer support, even on the trial tier, is most appreciated.

What do you dislike about the product?

The software requires specific file extensions and unfortunately does not support xlsm files.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our client needs an XLS spreadsheet to be converted to PDF and then appended to a main report. Using ConvertAPI has saved us countless hours that would have otherwise been spent manually converting the spreadsheet and attaching it to the report.

What do you like best about the product?

Their 1-month free trial is very generous (250 conversions included) and allowed me to try a few combinations of files to ensure their solution would meet my needs. Their support team is very responsive; I usually get a reply on the same day. I love that it's a REST API (with cURL documentation!) and that they have a way to test their API built right into the site (I use no-code tools, so this lets me build very quickly and easily)

What do you dislike about the product?

They don't support image (PNG, JPEG, TIFF) formats for direct redaction - you need to convert to PDF first, then redact. But that hasn't been a big issue for me.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I need to redact potentially thousands of documents for a client - I can feed in the redaction instructions to ConvertAPI, include the URL to the file, and it can redact and return a redacted PDF, in around 10 seconds or so.

Amazing and easy to use platform for our business.

Pricing is a bit higer for small businesses (individuals).

What do you like best about the product?

The API is very easy to implement and the conversions are quite reliable. I use it in my product for PDF to text conversion.
I want to specially recognize their customer support team who has been very responsive and helpful.

Nothing I can think of, they provide everything I need for my use cases.

I needed a reliable, easy-to-use API to convert PDF docs to text for our resume parsing use case. Convert API was just perfect for it.

As a software developer convertAPI is very helpful for me. I was looking for an api which can convert given file to multiple formats. But I can see only convertAPI has lot of documents supported .

By using convert API one can convert your file to doc,pdf img etc there lot of conversions available and the crazy thing is it doesnt give any watermark after converting the file which most of other prdoucts does.

Next cool thing I like about convert API is its ease of integration .with the help of convertAPI's restAPI we can easily implement it in our code.

The cost structure of ConvertAPI is pretty costly .It follows pay as use structure. So we have to cautious while using ConvertAPI

I can see it has some less customization conversion setting compared to other products in the market.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I wanted a product which can convert any file to required format. I can see convertAPI is the only one which has lot of document conversions availabe which is very helpful as a developer. I was able to convert PDF to doc or img or word etc. This is a major problem because i have to write huge code to implement these functionalites.

And another is it is easy to integrate in our code just we have to api url and the key. ConvertAPI gives restAPI which is easy to implement in the code
