Integrated specialist search has improved clinical workflows and directs patients to appropriate care

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

We’ve recently integrated ecovery’s specialist search functionality into the Rehab Guru platform, which is used by thousands of clinicians throughout the UK, to support and improve onward referral within everyday clinical workflows.

How has it helped my organization?

One of the consistent challenges we see is ensuring patients are directed to the most appropriate specialist when additional care is required. The ecovery integration allows clinicians to search for relevant specialists using clinically meaningful parameters directly within their existing workflow. This reduces time spent identifying appropriate onward care options and improves the patient journey significantly, which in turn strengthens our platform in a meaningful way.

What is most valuable?

The search functionality is a genuinely unique proposition within the private healthcare sector and one we are delighted to provide to our clinical users.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for 1 month.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

This product is genuinely unique in the marketplace here in the UK.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

ecovery uses an infrastructure-based usage pricing model which suits our requirements because it scales up and down with usage by our customers.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

There are no other companies offering this solution.

What other advice do I have?

This is a valuable addition for any organisation looking to improve clinical pathways and reduce inefficiencies associated with incorrect or delayed referrals.
