Fast, Comprehensive and User Friendly Tool for Royalty Management Needs of Publishing Companies
What do you like best about the product?
IPM Suit Publishing Edition is one of the best tools for a working professional in the publishing industry. It's easy to use and simple to understand. It's straightforward to use it is being integrated with Oracle and it works amazingly. Data is bifurcated properly. Customer support is also outstanding we get resolutions very quickly.
My work revolves around the allocation of income received from subrights of license. Its system-based calculation feature is also very good which stops us from posting incorrect amounts and invoices are generated within 48 hours. It helps in timely payments to the authors and invoices to the customers.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's very slow in loading and the phone version is not available.
If we leave it open for a long period we need to reload before using it again.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since it is a centralised database system all the information related to ISBNs is updated by various departments on a real-time basis because of this the work becomes quicker with real-time information available.

Its features like a Historic Posting List and Royalty Management help us in reviewing old postings. Also, the system is designed in such a way that if the information is not updated it the right manner in a deal then the system will not let you allocate the income which helps in avoiding incorrect allocations.

Best document retention tool with multiple level approvals
What do you like best about the product?
- Document Retention is best and there are multiple level approvals which can be validated and can be corrected at intial level. Data can be managed at one stop shop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Latency while switching the search access

Best data management tool. Documents can be retained for a very long time. One tool for accounting benefit and data entry as well.

What do you like best about the product?
IPM is the best tool for ingesting the complex rules. The flexibility of this system to get integrated with other source is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is a bit slow. In my organisation, there is a ton of data and hence to search for each record it takes some time. Hence it is a bit slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us ingest the complex rules which further helpsus with the computation problems. It also helps us store the data and whenever required, the same can be extracted.
Provides best utility when dealing with Intellectual Data Management.
What do you like best about the product?
It's the best tool available in for proffessionals and organisations engaged in publications industry which in turn adds to a lot of useful features like timely payment of due share to authors/right holders, income allocation and searching of royalty records through different filters and conditions as per the need (Ease of Use). It also has an all- round customer support available everytime it's required.
What do you dislike about the product?
IPM can be a bit sluggish at times since huge quantum of data is involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My work involves allocation of Subrights income which is in turn linked to payment of due shares of authors from Subrights trade of their rights/books. Invoice generation, searching of author records and their titles is done in this IPM Suite Publishing Edition.

Very fragile software. A lot of bugs cause errors in functioning.

Solved managing royalties for authors. It's a very systematic software to manage and monitor royalty accounting.

What do you like best about the product?
-User Friendly Interface: It is easy to use and very easy to navigate, is a plus for non technology friendly employees.
-Reporting: Offers comprehensive functionality for contract management & royalty management. Adds on in informed decision making, can be adjusted at any moment and of course there is manual intervention, so can be audited and make modifications then and there,

What do you dislike about the product?
-Performance Issues: Needless to say, this application is way more slow and takes time in responding. Its slow performance leads user to dissatisfaction.
- Not 100% accurate: As said, manual intervention is required, it has a con attached with it, even if we have captured everything correctly into the tool, we will never be 100% confident that the output will be accurate. User still needs to go back and check what went wrong and where is the glitch.

Problem: Traditional contract management and data/paperwork gathering methods need to updated to a better and technology friendly platform for a better & more insighful output.

Ease of using along with different data filtering ability
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way the home screen interface looks like. It’s been super easy to use and it helps in checking the data really quick and the frequent upgrades makes this tool work more effectively and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Less options available to save the data. It would be great if the data can be pulled in the forms of Pdf’s, excel etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me in checking different sets of data and then in analysing the work as well. I work on deals management in IPM which can be done effectively by this tool along with tracing the requester till the deal gets booked.
