Effortless Building Access, Needs Backup Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I find Verkada incredibly easy to set up, which took less than a few minutes. It's great not having to worry about carrying a keycard anymore since everything is registered to my mobile device. My security and IT team can grant me access just by waving my phone over a small device on the wall. It's very convenient for gaining easy access to the building, restrooms, and office spaces, with everyone having a key connected to their phone or smartwatch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no backup if I forget my phone. Without my mobile device, I can't access the building at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verkada secures our building and offices, provides easy access via phone or smartwatch, eliminates keycards, and setup takes just minutes.
Flexible Platform with Intuitive Controls for Easy Administration
What do you like best about the product?
It is a flexible platform with intuitive controls, making it easy to administer. The camera controls are easy to support and the physical access door controllers make managing access during onboarding and offboarding personnel a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bluetooth recognition feature on the mobile app does not always unlock the door quickly, which does not result in the expected time savings and convenience of leaving your mobile device in your bag or pocket.

Verkada provides multiple levels of physical security for our offices.
All-in-One Security Management Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
A single portal to manage my security and set permissions which is great
What do you dislike about the product?
So far not much, the team did great when installing and communicated throughout the process without me having to ask
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an outdated system that needed to be replaced and Verkada came in and was able to replicate everyone’s permissions for access onto the new system. Now I can see everything from one view point without having to log into different places.
High-Quality Video, Bandwidth Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I love the quality of the camera footage with Verkada. You can zoom in and still have a high level of detail without it getting distorted or fuzzy. The initial install of the camera was straightforward, and the setup and login for viewing was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is that it takes an enormous toll on our bandwidth over the network. I would almost recommend putting the cameras on a separate network so that it doesn't slow down daily operations on your main network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Verkada cameras for high-quality video feeds to monitor the front lobby. The footage quality is impressive, allowing you to zoom in without losing detail.

Nothing yet, its a awesome product. More school districts need to use it.

an all in one solution to numerous sectors in secuirty. Physical access, surveillance, and soon to be emergency alerts. It works by limiting our control to one platform.

I like Verkada's AI Componets and Cloud storage.

The viewing stations require an electrical outlet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verkada is solving a couple of problems, we no longer need DVRs, and our video review process has become more streamlined.
