Responsive Support and Real Conversations Make Cartesia Shine
Reviewed on Aug 13, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been able to speak with real people to discuss their plans and features. Their support has also been very good: when I’ve reported bugs or issues, they’ve been fixed and addressed, and any questions I’ve had have been answered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coding a voice agent comes with a bit of a learning curve. Claude Code really reduced that ramp-up time for me, though, and it makes me think that using any kind of AI coding agent could significantly speed up the development process for anyone considering Cartesia.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They make it easy to have a voice agent automatically run an in-depth interview, and it still sounds pleasant and easy to work with throughout.

Low-Latency AI Voice Generation with Natural-Sounding Speech
Reviewed on Aug 08, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Cartesia stands out for the natural quality and low latency of its AI voice technology. The speech generation feels responsive enough for conversational applications, where even small delays can make a voice interaction feel artificial. I also like the developer experience, with APIs and SDKs that make it relatively straightforward to connect voice capabilities to an existing application or AI agent. The platform's focus on real-time interaction makes it particularly useful for voice agents and other applications where responsiveness matters as much as audio quality. For teams building AI-powered voice experiences, the combination of speech quality, speed, and developer flexibility provides strong practical value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cartesia is clearly designed with developers and AI teams in mind, so users without experience working with APIs, voice models, or AI infrastructure may need more time to become comfortable with the platform. I would also like more built-in tools for evaluating voice quality across different models and use cases, particularly when comparing latency, naturalness, and cost. Pricing can become an important consideration for applications with high volumes of real-time conversations, so clearer cost forecasting and optimization guidance would make it easier to estimate ROI before scaling a production voice application. More guided onboarding examples for common voice-agent scenarios would also improve the initial experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cartesia addresses the challenge of making AI voice interactions sound natural while remaining fast enough for real-time conversations. Traditional text-to-speech systems can introduce noticeable delays or produce voices that feel less conversational, which becomes especially problematic for AI agents that need to respond naturally and continuously. Cartesia's focus on low-latency speech generation helps reduce that friction and makes voice-based AI applications feel more responsive. The API and developer tooling also reduce the amount of custom infrastructure needed to add speech capabilities to an existing AI workflow, allowing teams to spend more time improving the actual agent experience rather than building the voice layer from scratch.

Fast, Natural, and Powerful AI Voice Platform
Reviewed on Aug 08, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Cartesia is the quality and naturalness of its AI voice generation. The voices sound remarkably realistic, with good clarity, expression, and responsiveness. It’s also easy to integrate into applications, making it a great choice for building fast, engaging voice experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the pricing and usage limits, particularly for higher-volume use cases. It would also be helpful to offer more customization and fine-tuning options to better meet specific voice and pronunciation requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cartesia addresses the challenge of delivering natural, real-time AI voice experiences without the need for a lot of complex infrastructure. With fast response times and realistic-sounding voices, it becomes easier to build engaging voice-based applications, while also cutting down development time and improving the overall user experience.

Fast, Natural-Sounding Voice Generation with Low-Latency Performance
Reviewed on Aug 06, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out about Cartesia is its fast, natural-sounding voice generation and low-latency performance. It works especially well for real-time conversational AI applications, and the developer-friendly APIs make it relatively straightforward to integrate voice capabilities into existing apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced voice customization options can take time to fine-tune for specific use cases, and the output quality can occasionally be inconsistent when dealing with complex or unusual inputs. I’d also like to see greater flexibility and more direct control over voice styles and pronunciation, especially when trying to match a particular tone or delivery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cartesia helps us add fast, natural-sounding voice capabilities to our conversational AI applications without having to build speech infrastructure from scratch. The low-latency voice generation makes interactions feel more responsive while also reducing development effort, so we can build, iterate on, and deploy real-time voice experiences more quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
The sober interface makes it easy to focus and play around the options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Speech-to-text controls come with technical words that can not be grasped without further research for someone who is not necessarily familiar with. I believe that the quick help pop-ups could be optimized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I appreciate the all-in-one interface which looks comprehensive to get introduced to a concept that once felt too technical for me: "voice agents". I feel confident exploring this solution.

Realistic, Low-Latency Conversational AI with a Smooth Developer Experience
Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about this Cartesia platform is it stands out very much precise on designing for real-time conversational AI rather than having a traditional text-to-speech kind of generation. And the speech generations are taught almost instantly, making the conversations feel more natural when compared with other voice AI platforms. I also do like that it combines multiple capabilities right from starting text to speech and speech to text on voice cloning and other voice agents all under a single ecosystem. The voice quality sounds very realistic while maintaining the very low latency, which is particularly valuable for customer support bots and AI assistants. The APIs are well-documented and the developer experience is also straightforward for integrating voice functionality into existing applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the platform performs very well technically, it's more focused on the developer focus then creative focus. Also, sometimes without programming experience, we might find this platform bit complicated unless approachable than consumer-oriented AI voice tools. This platform also offers many advanced configuration options which can feel overwhelming initially but more no-code workflows and additional visual tools for building voice applications make it more easier and broader for our audience. For a highly customised conversation workflow, there is still a learning curve which needs to be worked on this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform helps us solve one of the biggest challenges in conversational AI by reducing the latency while maintaining the natural sound speech and instead of users waiting for several seconds for AI response and conversational feel much more fluid because speech generation and transcription happen in our real time, and this also improves the overall customer experience for Voice Assistant and automated support. This platform also simplifies the development by providing voice generations and transcriptions all under an agent's capabilities through a unified platform instead of requiring to hogging upon multiple platforms.
