What is our primary use case?
I usually use Protegrity's Data Protection Platform to secure our data to ensure that when we are testing or working on any project, our data is secure. It masks our data from any malware attacks or any cyber criminal attacks.
When I'm working on a project, I appreciate that we can customize the data with Protegrity's Data Protection Platform. It prevents any leakages or protects the confidential data that we are working with from any unauthorized access.
What is most valuable?
The best features are data masking techniques.
Masking techniques in Protegrity's Data Protection Platform prevent us from unauthorized access of P33 data, P2 data, SSN, and CVV types of data that we usually work with. This is really helpful because it enables us to work with peace of mind that our data is protected, and we end up having more production when we work with data.
We also have the data discovery and classification features. Protegrity's Data Protection Platform helps us to work on structured and unstructured data in any model before it is fully used.
What needs improvement?
In my opinion, Protegrity's Data Protection Platform has really worked well and has done the best work. What it lacks is quality features, but we cannot expect that unless in profiling types of tools. Masking is layered well in different types of data. I can say that the system works well. I have not had any downsides when working with this platform; most of the time it lags down only when we are working on large volumes of data, and that's when we can experience minimal lags.
The needed improvement is that the system can be upgraded to be faster and more flexible when it comes to speed, so it can handle large volumes of data without any challenge.

Protegrity's Data Protection Platform is highly stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is highly scalable when it comes to the data protection mechanism and deployment procedure. It has aligned fully with our company policies, streamlined the data recovery mode, and provided the best solution for managing and protecting data with the highest security measures that prevent our data from ransomware attacks or any cyber attacks. This is really helpful to us.
How are customer service and support?
The customer support for Protegrity's Data Protection Platform has been very reliable. They foresee the success of their product in our organization by deploying it and making follow-ups. They keep monitoring performance, and when we raise an issue, they respond very quickly. They are usually available 24/7. I can chat with them anytime, and they receive our calls very fast.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have not used a different solution.
What was our ROI?
When it comes to money, Protegrity's Data Protection Platform has saved us a lot when it comes to data protection. It comes with a clear framework for data protection that prevents us from unnecessary data losses that can cost us more in data recoveries. It also saves us time because it can prevent attacks that could cost us a lot of time in data recovery and the deployment of mechanisms to recover data, allowing our team to use more time when mapping to know where the data may be scaled. The system has saved us time.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I can see that the price of Protegrity's Data Protection Platform is a bit high, but the setup is flexible, and the licensing terms are easy to manage, usually complying with our enterprise policies.

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Protegrity's Data Protection Platform; we just made the first decision after coming across this platform. We wanted to scale first to see how it works before we evaluate other platforms.
What other advice do I have?
The performance of Protegrity's Data Protection Platform has been flexible, and I have no other additional feedback. We are beneficiaries because we have benefited from the data protection integrity, and I can say that we are still working to see if we can get some improvements later, but for now, the performance has been excellent.
I can fully recommend Protegrity's Data Protection Platform to others looking for data protection and for streamlining data operations in an organization because this is the most flexible platform for managing data in terms of security and production.
I can see that Protegrity's Data Protection Platform is very reliable when it comes to protecting data in an organization. It makes the entire data ecosystem secure, and it is very good for enterprise growth. I can really recommend it.

I primarily use Protegrity’s Data Protection Platform for data masking and tokenization for sensitive information, such as customer and business data. This helps me to protect confidential data, support compliance requirements, and securely share data for analytics while minimizing the exposure to unauthorized users.
In addition to data masking and tokenization, I use the platform to help maintain compliance requirements and securely enable data access for analytics and business operations while reducing the risk of sensitive data exposure.
What is most valuable?
The best features of Protegrity’s Data Protection Platform are its robust tokenization, data masking, and encryption capabilities. I also appreciate the centralized policy management and the ability to protect sensitive data consistently across the cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments while supporting compliance requirements.

What is our primary use case?
We use the solution to encrypt sensitive data like PII data. Any unauthorized person cannot find the exact sensitive value in case of data issues. We are using that tool to protect sensitive data.
What is most valuable?
Protegrity has given us various options. For example, if your system is not compatible to do some actions, it will bend it in such a way. They provide solutions to help the system adapt to the tokenization for sensitive data. They are providing very good protection.
What needs improvement?
Protegrity is using a different OS, which has some bugs. Sometimes, it's causing an initialization error.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Protegrity Data Security as a customer since 2021.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The product is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Protegrity is a very interactive and accessible tool. There is no hard thing we were facing.
Our company has around 30+ users using this solution, including one administrator.
How are customer service and support?
There are some different steps or changes or some bugs. We contacted the Protegrity support team, who responded in less than four hours.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is easy. We have various applications, and establishing the connection between the Protegrity and the application was quite difficult.
The deployment can be done in one week if everything is ready, including network, application, and OS compatibility.
Protegrity provided the user manual. We followed the steps that they gave. We use the Linux platform. Everything was documented, and with the help of their solution architect, we did the procedures, and it was very easy.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The solution has moderate pricing.
What other advice do I have?
Protegrity is an easy-access tool, and its team will help you from the beginning of the architecture. They will tell you about the bugs or errors from the application point of view that can be rectified from your end. The Protegrity team will give all this information. Until the completion of implementation, they will stay with you, and post-implementation also, they will help you.
I will give the topmost rating because of the easy UI, supporting and troubleshooting document, and the upgrade guide. Everything is perfect. Whatever the changes they are making in their environment, they are updating us over email. If you forget to let them know that your issue is not resolved. They will send you continuous emails even after 10 or 20 days. They keep on following up on your issue in a very decent manner. Their support is also perfect, even on Saturday and Sunday. They do not hesitate to help you. They will Understand your issue and its severity and help you.
Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

We know how crucial data is these days. And Protegrity helps to not just protect the data but also sensitize it protecting the fundamental right of the individual, which is the 'Right to Privacy'.

What do you like best about the product?
Protegrity is unique in that it offers vaultless tokenization which is easily scalable to accommodate large data protection efforts. Combine that with world class support and you have a fantastic product to satisfy just about any company's data security needs.
We have deployed Protegrity on-prem as well as in our public cloud infrastructure with very little effort. I have found their documentation to be simple to follow and implement successfully.

More of a suggestion here than a dislike, but I wish that Protegrity would offer b2b policies so that data could remain tokenized during transit. This would enhance the overall data protection model to defend against a variety of transit attacks on data over the internet.

- scalability/elasticity due to the immutable protectors available
- speed attributed to the vaultless tokenization implementation

What do you like best about the product?
Data masking techniques for PII, SSN, CVV types of data are allowed which will protect the data against unauthorised use. This is really helpful for creating dummy data before it is in production.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really the best and I don't see any negatives although it lacks data quality features but we cannot expect unless in profiling type of tools. Masking is well layered in different types of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Table, column and row level masking and tokenizing the data according to the type of data is not an easy task. I feel this tool solved the above problems by integrating with many hadoop tools.
