What do you like best about the product?

Edgescan provides excellent visibility into our external attack surface and helps us efficiently manage vulnerability remediation. The platform combines continuous vulnerability scanning with expert validation, which significantly reduces false positives and allows our team to focus on genuine security risks. We particularly value the clear risk prioritization, detailed remediation guidance, and comprehensive reporting capabilities, which support both our operational security processes and compliance requirements such as PCI DSS. The support team is highly responsive, and the platform has helped us improve collaboration between security, infrastructure, and development teams while maintaining a strong security posture.

What do you dislike about the product?

While Edgescan provides strong vulnerability discovery and validation capabilities, there are some areas where the platform could improve. The user interface can sometimes feel less intuitive when navigating large numbers of assets and findings, particularly when performing detailed analysis or reporting. Custom reporting and dashboard flexibility could also be enhanced to better support different stakeholder audiences. Additionally, tighter integrations with a broader range of security and ITSM platforms would help streamline remediation workflows and reduce manual effort. While the support team is responsive, some advanced feature requests can take time to be implemented.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Edgescan helps us solve several key challenges in external vulnerability management. It provides continuous visibility into our internet-facing assets, enabling us to identify security weaknesses before they can be exploited. The platform's validated findings reduce the time spent investigating false positives and allow our team to focus on genuine risks that require remediation.

From a business perspective, Edgescan improves our ability to prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, track remediation progress, and demonstrate accountability across technical teams. It also supports our compliance initiatives, including PCI DSS requirements, by providing actionable reporting and evidence of ongoing vulnerability management activities. As a result, we have strengthened our security posture, improved remediation efficiency, and gained greater confidence in the security of our external attack surface.

What do you like best about the product?

Edgescan is great for its simplicity and the ability to quickly add a new endpoint for authenticated application vulnerability scanning, complete with verified findings. It reduces the number of false positive findings, which increases trust with technical teams and leads to good engagement. It simplifies our internal workflows across multiple technical teams. Edgescan provides authenticated vulnerability scanning as a service.

Licenses can not be switched between assets

Edgescan reduces false positives, increasing trust and engagement. It simplifies workflows with easy onboarding, quick addition of new endpoints, and authenticates vulnerability scanning, providing verified vulnerabilities. The integration with systems like Slack for alerting is also beneficial.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the ease of use and AI integration in Edgescan. It helps us stay on top of any security lapses due to misconfiguration or oversight. The initial setup was very easy, which prompted our switch to Edgescan primarily because of its cost-effectiveness and simplicity.

Edgescan helps us with intrusion detection and keeps us aware of security lapses. I like its ease of use and AI integration.

Intial Onboarding process is simple and straight forward.

What do you dislike about the product?

Post Onboarding there are lost of blockers which consume lost of time. All the mandatory requirements should be captured during the onboarding process.

Scheduling process should be easy and tell user if scheduling is done for Pre scan or manual assessment.

It able to identify external attack surface for publically exposed applications.

What do you dislike about the product?

Everything expressed here is based off my personal experience with Edgescan and doesn't reflect my Employer's thoughts.. No dislike but at this point i m reaching out to the CSM for tasks like changing an asset from external to internal or add user role to any users which would be good if I have flexibility to add it.

Also, when it comes to Asset blockers once it is resolved it doesnt show up anywhere. It would be good to have the block history as a part of the Asset itself.

What do you like best about the product?

Edgescan is a really simple UI interface with optionality for different levels of reporting on cybersecurity risks & their customer support is extremely helpful, the performance is very strong with regular reporting & alerting to issues which allows us to act promptly and integrate new security measures proactively

I have not had any bad experiences with edgescan

We sell a data product so edgescan supporting us in keeping access to the product secure helps keep our customers data secure so it benefits us massively in selling our product & ensuring the product meets all security regulations for market

What do you like best about the product?

The dashboard provides an immediate overview, along with comprehensive vulnerability scans and reports. Customer service has also been excellent. The UI/UX is excellent and also the new Ai feature is a great addition.

What do you dislike about the product?

No complaints at all about using the dashboard. Pricing could include staging as well as production environments perhaps.

We needed a reliable, accurate and up to date way to monitor vulnerabilities across our product deployment ecosystem, along with help and assistance in dealing with threats. The dashboard and regular reports help us maintain compliance requirements and provide invaluable insights into how to achieve the best results.

What do you like best about the product?

We have been a long term EdgeScan customer - coming up on 15 years. The ability to have continuous vulnerability scans conducted and the ability to do as hoc scans when changes are made is invaluable. The trend reports over time and time to resolve issues are useful factors for KPI/KRI management.

What do you dislike about the product?

Not a lot! It’s A very solid product we trust and have stayed with because it’s that good.

The response from support on any questions I have is quick and knowledgeable, the interface of the dashboard is clean and clear.
It is really easy to add assets to the scanning schedule as well, and the searchability of present as well as past vulnerabilities is really extensive.

What do you dislike about the product?

The vulnerability scans do not resolve the vulnerabilities for me...
There's nothing that irks me about Edgescan, really.

Edgescan is finding vulnerabilities that we do not have the time to look for.

I like the validated, near false positive free vulnerability scanning of Edgescan. It was easy to set up and scale.

What do you dislike about the product?

The user interface is not particularly user-friendly and has proven challenging to navigate efficiently. Key functions and settings are not always intuitive, making it difficult to perform common tasks without additional guidance. As a result, users have experienced delays in completing activities and identifying the root cause of issues.

In addition, the current challenges with email delivery and the recurring "Failed to construct the email" error have further impacted the overall user experience. Due to these ongoing issues, we have been unable to utilize the tool effectively or realize its intended value. We would appreciate a prompt investigation and guidance on how these issues can be resolved so that the platform can be used in a more meaningful and productive manner.
