Simple yet unparalleled Security!!!
What do you like best about the product?
Blancco has impressed me time and time again with its unwavering focus on data security. The best thing about this software, in my opinion, is its thorough and comprehensive data erasure capabilities. Blancco takes away all worries of data breaches or unauthorized access. Once it wipes data, it's gone for good!
Another feature that truly distinguishes Blanco is its compliance with various data protection regulations. The detailed data erasure reports provided by the software are a fantastic way to demonstrate regulatory compliance. This aspect gives me extraordinary peace of mind in ensuring that sensitive data isn't just securely erased but also done in complete adherence with prescribed legal guidelines.

Blancco drive eraser has been in use with us for a long time and we like it.
Compared to other programs we have tried, we think Blancco is the best.
Some good points:
• Possibility of HASP key licensing (offline environments)
• Blancco image can be customized according to the company's requirements
• Additional information in reports can also be customized in advance
• Possibility to choose the level of verification (%)
• Most NVMe drives support Blancco SSD erasure method firmware overwrite (note: Western Digital drives do not support)

The only bad point is that Blancco is not on the list of approved erasure products by the Finnish NCSA (Traficom).

Customer support. I had some difficulty my first time using the software, but support was great.

While it is a great software, I was unable to use it on some older Lenovo machines that no longer had original hard drivers.

Whenever we need to dispose of a machine, we use the software to wipe all our data as well as to fulfil our compliance requirements.

Within the resource center, we sometimes work with associations or communities that may have sensitive data on their computers that they give to us. Blancco allows us to certify the erasure of the data and thus confirm compliance with the GDPR law for the donor.

The least obvious might be the handling of the tool primarily in English by employees in integration.

Blancco software is really easy to use and reliable and also have a very good support team.

It is not NIST-certified and should try to get this certification

Blancco is solving my data security problem by wiping the data from my media drives by which I got full compliance of data security as our company is ISO27000 certified.

Overall we've found using Blancco to be a fairly user friendly and productive tool within our industry. Fast, Secure, and avaialble offline as well as a pxe boot.

Sometimes due to Blanccos high standards, drives can fail that would not fail with other software.

Blancco acts as our main way to erase potentially hundreds of drives for customers. Blancco offers some of the highest data erasure methods avaialable, giving our customer confidence.

Once a USB drive is configured which is easy to do, the interface is simple and also east to use.

To be honest i cannot think of any downsides besides after the wipe is done you cannot recover data so make sure you want it wiped in the first place.
