Live saver
What do you like best about the product?
I am a CPA. DocuClipper makes it so easy to convert my clients PDF statements into usable csv files. Saves me tons of time ensuring their accounting records are complete when data has been lost or is missing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love everything about DocuClipper.....

Easily getting PDF bank statements into a csv file to upload to QuickBooks.

Excellent platform
What do you like best about the product?
The simple and efficient platform for my document conversion. The platform can analyse and extract accurate data from any document loaded. This is the best platform for Accountants and data analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is really nothing not to like about this platform.

We used to have to print and process PDF bank statements manually before we started using DocuClipper. DocuClipper works great and is priced very well.

Currently not able to convert Absa PDF documents, however i have been informed they are working on this.

Conversion of PDF bank statements to CSV format which we can import into our accounting software

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it takes seconds to upload bank and credit card statements in order to extract information that is needed to be uploaded into QBO for bookkeeping catch-up work that QBO does not sync from bank and credit card statements for months behind current period. Fantastic product!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all for use of program. The price is a little high to maintain a monthly subscription if not needed, so I purchase in the months I need, then cancel when my catch-up work is completed for a particular client.

PDF to CSV file conversion is super easy with DocuClipper!
What do you like best about the product?
DocuClipper makes sure every detail such as the date, descriptions, and amounts in the bank statement, credit card statement, and/or screenshots is captured flawlessly. This app is a life-saver for remote bookkeepers and accountants wanting to convert files from PDF to CSV formats. Great experience! I highly recommend it.

Couldn't think of anything to dislike about DocuClipper. Tip: Choose the subscription plan that fits your needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Converting PDF to CSV files to upload into QuickBooks Online or Xero can be difficult if you're using free apps online that don't convert files properly. But, not with DocuClipper.
This has been the easiest and most accurate bank statement conversion I have done in 10 years.

It takes the 2nd line and adds it to a column - brilliant

I am able to import 37 page bank statements in an instant, previously had to type them all out - I save time and can bill the client so quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
DocuClipper was very easy to use and does exactly what it advertises and specifically what I needed it to do, which was convert PDF statements to excel files. At first, I was a little skeptical on how accruate it would be to convert bank and credit card statement of various formats, but the software did great! I would say it was 98% accurate and saved me alot of time and money. The alternative would have been to hire data entry level support people to manually enter everything, which would have taken weeks and incurred a much higher cost than using DocuClipper.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I learned quickly to do was to seperate the PDF files by years ... maybe this is just my own user naiveness, but when I uploaded statements of multiple years, dates were often for the wrong years and I had to do a bunch of correction. But that was an easy adjustment to make and going forward, I had very little corrections to make.

We had years of bank statement and credit card statements that needed to be uploaded into an accounting software. At the end of the day, it was close to 5000 transactions. Since these statements were older than what the bank will give electronic access to, we didn't have anything else other than what was on paper. DocuClipper saved us both time and money by helping us avoid having to hire data-entry level type of support to do the tedious work of entering each of these lines into Excel or an acocunting software.

DocuClipper saved me literal hours during a recent bookkeeping cleanup project. I was able to import 18 months of statements for 2 different companies in mere minutes

I only canceled my subscription because I don't need it every month. I will resubscribe for future one-time clean-up projects

DocuClipper allowed me to easily & quickly import transactions from bank statements to QuickBooks

What do you like best about the product?
it reads bank statements so well. of course, you want to some quality control, but the number of transactions missed is like 1/500. and it's an online program so no installation. it's pretty magical. and it was head and shoulders above the rest of the programs I tried. all the others had tons of formatting issues that I would have needed to solve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. We intend to use it at a law firm and we don't have a need for it continuously. Only when we have a bank statement heavy case.

Quality control issues when building and manually filling in spreadsheets with numbers from bank statements.

I have only used DocuClipper to convert pdf bank and credit card statement files to Excell spreadsheets. The conversion is quick and easy. One just drops the file and downloads the spread sheet.
It is much easier than fighting through the spreadsheet formating that Adobe produces as an export.

What do you dislike about the product?
Until you figure out the interface, there is a bit of guesswork about how to proceed. Better coaching for new users would be helpful.
DocuClipper occasionally will find a random number in the pdf file and put it in some random but usually unimportant place. So you need to do a quick side by side scan of the files to make sure you have what you need.
