How has it helped my organization?
It has made reporting and decision-making much easier for my team. I can now visualize key business metrics in real time and share insights with non-technical users.
The setup from Intuz was reliable and saved me a lot of time compared to doing everything manually.
What is most valuable?
The interactive dashboards and SQL query builder are the most valuable features. They make it simple to pull data from my database and create visualizations instantly. I also appreciate that I can easily embed reports or schedule automatic updates.
What needs improvement?
The stack is already excellent. Adding built-in options for secure connection setup (SSL) and some ready-to-use dashboard templates would make onboarding even faster for new users.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I previously tried Redash, but Metabase offered a more user-friendly interface and better visualization options. Hosting through Intuz on AWS also gave me more flexibility.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It is cost-effective. I only pay for AWS resources, and the setup by Intuz saves hours of installation time. For small and mid-sized teams, it represents a perfect balance between features and cost.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I compared Metabase with Redash and Google Data Studio. Metabase was the best choice in terms of speed, simplicity, and self-hosting control.
What other advice do I have?
If you want a quick, reliable analytics setup on AWS, this is one of the best AMIs available. The documentation is clear, performance is stable, and Intuz support is prompt and professional. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Work
I wanted to explore Snipe-IT and found Intuz's AMI for Snipe-IT. It was so excellently preconfigured that I just launched the AMI, and all other things like password, configuration, and setup of Snipe-IT was done automatically. All I had to do was just login into the Snipe-IT and explore it. I had a great experience with Intuz and will explore it more.
Works really well out of the box!
Tested various versions of Snipe-IT, docker, ubuntu package etc etc. It was really nice to find this in AWS as an AWI! It was fairly straight forward to setup and deploy. My only question to the maintainer is: how often is this updated, and do you have a patching method for a deployed instance of the AWI?

No support. Does not work as described
Trying to create an API key. get non specific error with no support or documentation to assist in fixing issue. Does not work from initial install. Very difficult to find support.
