One Stop Shop for Live and On-Demand Media Streaming
What do you like best about the product?
Whether it be encoding, playback, or analytics, there is a solution in the Bitmovin product line. We rely heavily on Bitmovin Player, a feature-rich solution that integrates into all of the platforms our end users use, including Android, iOS, Web, Roku, and Smart TVs. Add to that their highly capable encoding and streaming services like Bitmovin Encoding and Bitmovin Streaming, you really don't have to look anywhere else for streaming live or on-demand media.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a cost involved but this is more than made up for by the features and support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitmovin's solutions address several key challenges for us. Bitmovin Player solves the issue of trying to support a multitude of platforms with a reliable and consistent experience. Bitmovin Encoding provides us with a very capable encoder that integrated well with our platform. Analytics and Stream Lab allow us to insight into our users experience and ensures that is up to our standards.

Great encoding and exceptional support
What do you like best about the product?
Bitmovin excels in delivering high-quality video through their advanced encoding technology. Moreover, Bitmovin's outstanding customer support is prompt, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. Their commitment to innovation keeps them at the forefront of video technology, making them an excellent choice for businesses seeking top-notch video delivery solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Bitmovin shines in delivering high-quality video and offering excellent customer support, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. Firstly, their documentation could benefit from more practical examples and use cases. While they do provide technical information, having more real-world examples would make it easier for users to implement their services effectively. Additionally, when encountering failed encodes, the error messages provided by Bitmovin could be more informative and detailed. Clearer error messages would greatly aid users in troubleshooting issues and understanding the root causes of the problems, ultimately leading to a smoother user experience. Overall though, I wouldn't say any of these overly detract from what is otherwise a fantastic product.

What do you like best about the product?
The solution is comprehensive and the player is powerful, can fulfill our requirements.

Currently, it's all working perfectly fine.

As a CDN provider, we require a powerful player to enhance our media solution’s comprehensiveness. Bitmovin player is precisely what we need.

Their APIs, being involved in their growth over the years and their customer success management efforts

Slow cycle times on smaller, but still important issues with their player product

Providing a state-of-the-art html 5 web video player with a well documented API
Super fast integration, stunning video quality
What do you like best about the product?
It took us very little time to get going with their dashboard and SDKs, great docs. The quality we can provide to our users is much higher than with the open-source tools we used in the past. Also, their support is outstanding, they have public community support that's great, but also their engineers directly interacted with us, even via a joined slack channel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, I'm looking forward to the next items on the roadmap of their new Streams product, which we are using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to add video to our product and user journey in a simple, fast and cost-effective way, but with great quality at the same time. Bitmovin enabled us to do this with their Streams API, few lines of code, and we got video workflows like Netflix.

Support for Chromecast and customization based on case.

Bitmovin provides playback support across all the platforms we are building apps on. It's a one-stop solution.
Support as biggest advantage
What do you like best about the product?
All you need from a tool is good documentation and support as customer. Especially with different edge cases on different platforms that are used today. Bitmovin ofers both.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find any major trouble while using Bitmovin

Synchronizing multiple video source in one timeline and and customizing player expirience for our clients.

Sometimes documentation is difficult to find, but examples are good for finding a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using JWPlayer as a video content player in Android, iOS, Web and some Smart TV, but we found that Bitmovin was a great update for UI/UX changes.
