What is most valuable?
We are using Trend Vision One - Cloud Security for getting complete visibility of all the assets that exist within our cloud, and it helps us identify any sort of misconfigurations or fine-tuning that can be done to better our compliance.
Trend Vision One - Cloud Security helps in onboarding all the cloud solutions or cloud providers that we have within our organization into a single dashboard, thereby providing greater visibility of all the assets.
Earlier we used to have multiple dashboards to manage the same solution or capability, but with Trend Micro, we are able to get everything in a single pane of glass, benefiting our operations significantly.
We are using the playbooks built into Trend Vision One - Cloud Security, which help us take a lot of response actions and bring automation capabilities into play.
Trend Vision One - Cloud Security has positively impacted our organization by providing a single pane of glass visibility across all the cloud solutions that we have and reducing the number of threats we used to see earlier in the cloud.
We are seeing that the number of cloud operations required earlier in terms of threat detection and response, and the time taken to detect a particular threat and take a response action, has considerably improved after onboarding Trend Micro.
What needs improvement?
I would like to see more third-party integrations being added into Trend Vision One - Cloud Security, as it currently has a good amount of integrations but does not allow ingestion from many third-party solutions.
We would like to see the reports being more granular and actionable in Trend Vision One - Cloud Security; for example, if there is a particular dashboard view that an analyst is viewing, we would like the ability to export that data into a report or send it via email, as those kinds of automations are currently missing.

We have been using Trend Vision One - Cloud Security for two and a half years.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing for Trend Vision One - Cloud Security is very straightforward; we are using credits for calculating the solution that is required, and in terms of setup cost and licensing, it is very flexible.
The thirty-day free trial credits available for doing a pilot of the solution really helped us evaluate Trend Vision One - Cloud Security, so I would suggest that if you are planning to evaluate, you can try out the free trial that is available.
What other advice do I have?
We did not purchase Trend Vision One - Cloud Security through AWS Marketplace. I would rate this solution nine out of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the best part is that it just works across both cloud and on-prem without needing to redo everything from scratch. It gave us the flexibility we needed and once it was set up, day-to-day use felt pretty seamless. I liked the fact that we could keep certain sensitive stuff on-rem while still using cloud where it made sense.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts felt a little overwhelming at first. Such as figuring out which setting controls what, especially when switching between environments. Took some trial and error. Also a few features that seemed helpful were only available in the higher plans, which was a bit frustrating. Although customer support is always there to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest help is wrt visibility and control. Before this, we had a bit of a scattered setup, and tracking vulnerabilities or compliance gaps was tough. Now it is easier to monitor everything from one place.
Installation, configuration, and maintenance are super easy, and it feels like a safe environment from risk.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of installing new equipment with the agent for both desktops and mobiles, ease of implementation, customer support is good with the partner in my country.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is possible to improve and add more functionalities to the integration with Active Directory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trendmicro helped me stay safe from ransomware and phishing attacks. When the end user is not well trained, Trendmicro is a good backup.

Performance issues during migration: If applications are moved to an ill-suited cloud environment, it can lead to performance degradation or increased costs

Operational Efficiency :team has actively used Trend Micro’s ecosystem for endpoint visibility, phishing simulations, and compliance tracking. Intern-led initiatives even integrated FleetDM with Trend Micro tools for enhanced software asset visibility

What I dislike about Hybrid Cloud Security is that the initial setup can be pretty complex and time consuming it definitely requires some technical expertise to get everything configured properly. I also faced a few issues when trying to integrate it with existing tools like our SIEM, which made things a bit harder to manage at first. Another thing is that maintaining full visibility across both on-prem and cloud environments isn’t always straightforward; sometimes it feels like there are blind spots.

Hybrid Cloud Security helps me deal with one of the biggest challenges I face with clients keeping security consistent across both cloud and on-prem environments. A lot of companies have gaps in visibility or use separate tools that don’t talk to each other. With this solution, I can manage everything from one place, detect threats faster, and make sure policies are applied across the board. It also makes compliance easier, especially for clients in industries with strict regulations. It saves time, reduces risk, and gives me peace of mind that the environment is secure and well monitored.
