Useful as an additional tool for Fraud Investigations
What do you like best about the product?
Fortiro is a useful additional tool in fraud investigation. While it is not the 'be all and end all' it can help support any existing suspicions that you already have regarding documents presented by potential customers.
There is also more potential for use as a front-end tool built into an automated loan decisioning API. This is already being implemented in the industry and seeing some success but will need further refinement to provide real benefit.

What do you dislike about the product?
There can be a lot of 'noise' and false positives provided by the system. It requires significant oversight in this way and often does not give any insight into documents.
It struggles with certain document types; however the reviewer notes this is being improved upon by the developers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There have been real use cases where it has identified potentially fraudulent documents and triggered further investigation, ultimately leading to confirmation of fraud by an investigator.
Outstanding Service and Powerful OCR Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The service levels, continuous enhancements and the document OCRs ability to recognise multiple files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of information sharing based on scans from across multiple tenants.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us identify fraudulent, manipulated and non-genuine documents to manage potentially suspicious and fraudulent applications. It has aided the team in identifying what aspects of a document are of concern and may need attention.
