The threat emails are not tailored to our company, though the product is stable

    Reviewed on Feb 14, 2024
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

We use the solution for the correlation of threat feeds and reporting.

    What is most valuable?

The product is stable. We have no complaints about its stability.

    What needs improvement?

The threat emails are not tailored to our company. It just gives us every newsletter and bombards our email box. The solution must be able to provide threat feeds. We shouldn’t have to rely on third parties and pay for additional licenses. The tool doesn't integrate well with ServiceNow. It is our main ticketing platform.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for about a year.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    We have three users.

How are customer service and support?

We get support from a partner.

    How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is very complex. It took us a year to get to where we are, and it is still not fully set up. The solution is cloud-based.

What other advice do I have?

We don't have any threat feeds to correlate with yet. I've recently acquired the role of threat intelligence. We don’t need a lot. It can be customized. The company can do that for us. We haven’t seen much improvements in our organization since we have deployed the product. It's too complex for what we need. Overall, I rate the product a five out of ten.

    The prices must be reduced.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for one year. I am using the latest version of the solution.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I rate the tool’s stability a nine out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

In my company, three to five administrators are using the tool. I rate the tool’s scalability a nine out of ten.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support team is helpful.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

    I have worked with Cortex.

    How was the initial setup?

The installation of the product was very easy compared to its competitors. We need a couple of hours to a couple of days for the installation. We maintain the solution. The vendor also has a customer success manager for each project.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The solution is not expensive, but it is not cheap. I rate the pricing a six out of ten.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I evaluated Cortex before choosing Cyware.

What other advice do I have?

Generally, administrators use the solution. End-users can use the tool with some added privileges. It depends on the design. I recommend the solution to others. Overall, I rate the tool a nine out of ten.
