Flexible, Reliable Forms with Seamless CMS Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE Formstack forms - I go way back - to the FORMSPRING days. I used them at the Queen Mary for every RSVP form, feedback form, and more, and at FOX Sports for every contest we hosted. It’s a very flexible tool that works across all browsers, and I’ve had zero issues integrating it across multiple CMSs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is pretty awesome. That said, on the few occasions when I ran into issues implementing a form, getting help from support felt more complicated than it needed to be. It took multiple emails, and I ended up explaining the same issue over and over to different people. Overall, it wasn’t the best support experience I’ve had while working in tech. Hopefully they’ve improved that service since my last engagement with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You have no idea how many different types of forms a webmaster ends up needing—RSVPs, Contact Us pages, contest entries, and more. It adds up fast. Having a tool that’s flexible and easy to use is really helpful, and it checks a lot of boxes when you need to build robust forms in a short amount of time.
Intuitive Form Builder with Vast Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I find Formstack Forms very easy to use and appreciate the vast integration options it offers. I use it to create dynamic yet simple forms for both internal and external purposes. The integration capabilities are particularly beneficial as we use Formstack Forms with Stripe to collect payments and integrate it with our CRM via Zapier. It's a great tool that allows us to streamline our processes efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only key challenge we have with it right now is that it isn't directly embedded into our current CRM (HubSpot).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack Forms allows us to create dynamic yet simple forms, ideal for internal and external purposes. Its ease of use and integrations with Stripe and Zapier streamline payment collection and CRM integration.
Clunky, expensive, not worth your time
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it solved a problem we had at the time and got rid of the paper form we were using and it integrated into Google Sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Where do I even start? It is clunky, the design options are terrible, and unless you are a software developer, there is no way to make it look better. The integrations would constantly fail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is not solving any problems right now. It is causing problems. I just haven't had time to move our last workflow to Jotform.
Robust Security and Automation That Deliver Peace of Mind
What do you like best about the product?
What truly sets it apart is its robust security, which lets you operate with complete peace of mind, along with its automation capabilities that significantly reduce the manual workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
One weakness is the support team’s response time, since email inquiries often take several days to be resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It boosts productivity by helping reduce working hours, and it also provides legal security by handling sensitive data in line with global standards.
Streamlined Multi-Author Approvals with Seamless Offline Sync
What do you like best about the product?
An excellent multi-author approval workflow that streamlines internal process management. In addition, the seamless offline mode supports offline data capture and then automatically synchronizes once internet access is restored, without any data loss.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs more flexibility in its aesthetic design, as the current look feels a bit limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit for me is the automation: it saves me a lot of time and helps ensure a bug-free process.
Secure, CRM-Integrated Workflow That Simplifies Contract Management
What do you like best about the product?
I have complete confidence in its security, since protecting confidential data is vital to us. In addition, its automatic integration with the CRM makes it easier to close deals and manage contracts within a single workflow, without unnecessary manual steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m concerned about the pricing structure, since the recurring costs tend to rise as the operation scales up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its robust capabilities and high security standards have streamlined our management processes. Thanks to the speed of electronic signatures, we’ve been able to shorten hiring timelines and eliminate administrative bottlenecks.
Secure, Compliance-First Architecture with Easy Ecosystem Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I’m impressed by its data security and compliance-oriented architecture. The easy integration with existing ecosystems also makes it a key tool for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its main weakness is how difficult it is to achieve a modern design without resorting to custom code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Beyond simply creating forms, its real value is in its ability to orchestrate secure data flows, which reduces the need to maintain proprietary code.
Fast, No-Code Form Building with Powerful Logic, Integrations, and Branding
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Formstack forms is how easy it is to create and publish forms without any coding. I can build a form quickly using drag and drop and start collecting responses in minutes. The form builder is clean and simpler. Fields are easy to add, remove, or rearrange, and everything feels logical even for first-time users. I also like the flexibility in form design. I can customize colors, fonts, and layouts so the form matches the brand instead of looking generic. Formstack handles complex form logic very well. Conditional fields, calculations, and required validation can be added without much effort. Another strong point is integration. Formstack connects smoothly with CRMs, email tools, and internal systems, which saves a lot of manual work. The submission management is well organized. Responses are easy to view, filter, and export, which is helpful for reporting or follow-ups.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is the pricing. For small teams or simple use cases, it can feel expensive compared to basic form tools. Some advanced features are locked behind higher plans, which means you may need to upgrade sooner than expected. The UI is simple but sometimes feels a bit slow when working with very large or complex forms. Customization is good, but not unlimited. If you want deep design control, you may still need external styling. The learning curve increases when you start using advanced logic and interfacing. It's not hard, but it takes time. Reporting inside the tool is useful, but for deep analytics exporting data is often required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack forms solve the problem of manual data collection and scattered information. Without it, data often come through emails, spreadsheets, or paper forms. It benefits me by saving time and reducing errors. Since data is collected digitally, there is less chance of missing or incorrect information. Formstack helps automate a workflow. Submissions can trigger emails, CRM updates, or internal actions instantly. It improves consistency. Every user submits data in the same structured format, making processing easier. It also helps teams scale. As volume grows, Formstack continues to handle submissions without extra effort. For businesses dealing with sensitive data, it adds peace of mind through built-in security and compliance options. It improves collaboration. The team can access the same form data without sharing files or asking for updates. It keeps data clean and reliable, because everyone submits information in the same format, which reduces confusion during review or processing. It saves time for backend or operations teams, since no manual cleanup is needed before using the data in other systems. It supports growth without stress. Even when submission volume increases, forms continue to work smoothly without extra setup or maintenance. It reduces dependency on spreadsheets because data is already stored, structured, and searchable in one place. It improves internal coordination, as multiple teams can work on the same data set without duplicating effort. It helps meet compliance and audit needs more easily, since form submissions are tracked, stored, and controlled properly. It builds trust with user customers because secure forms make people feel safer while sharing personal or business information.
Sales Ops
What do you like best about the product?
It’s good for basic document generation and online forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support has been horrible and not helpful at all. Sales overpromised on the product’s capabilities and features, and it hasn’t lived up to what was presented. Overall, I’m very disappointed with both the product and the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data for document generation.
Robust Security and a Clear Multi-Stage Form Process
What do you like best about the product?
I have a lot of confidence in its robust security. I also appreciate that the forms follow a clear, logical multi-stage process, which is a real benefit for internal organization and keeping everything structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform’s design feels a bit outdated, and it could really use a visual refresh to better match how powerful and capable it is from a functional standpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve completely eliminated data duplication. The process is now much cleaner: information arrives securely, without manual errors, and is ready to use right away.
