Highly Customizable Forms with Powerful Logic

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the level of customization available when creating forms. The logic works great and helps keep the workflow in a closed loop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Photos: It seems like the more photos I add, the more syncing issues I run into. Sometimes the form won’t submit at all if there are too many photos attached.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us create an online exam form, which lets us run some of our training programs remotely.

Dynamic, Customizable Forms with Clean Exports and a Smooth API Experience

What do you like best about the product?
The customization was great and the forms had the capability of being dynamic. When a user responds to a certain answer choice, it could present the next question live and this could apply to multiple different questions for different responses. It really created a smooth flow for the user. The output of this was clean as well in which the exported results were not confusing to read and had a similar flow to the survey itself. The API was clean and blended together really easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue we encountered was that some responses were being deleted by an internal user. They were using the form responses as a request list and deleting once completed and Formstack had no way to recover responses (somewhat expected) but they could not tell us what user deleted the responses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack was our solution for internal and external forms and surveys. Internally, we would use for requests and pulse surveys. Externally, we would use for interest forms, experience surveys, RSVPs, etc. It worked really well with Salesforce for lead automation and generation.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to build forms with the drag-and-drop editor, and I also appreciate the nitty-gritty logic you can use when you need to create more complex forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some options feel a bit less polished in terms of how reliably they work. For example, the Unique fields seem like they should be really useful, but I’ve run into two major issues with them in the past: a) if multiple people try to sign up at the exact same time, they can accidentally bypass the “unique” restriction; b) if someone needs to cancel a time that was set up as a Unique field and we remove it on the backend, there’s no way to add it back into the form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack has been a great way for our institution to streamline how people sign up for events, online newsletters, and email lists.

What do you like best about the product?
Formstack allows you to do an incredible amount of data collection, with little to no technical knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
It got expensive! I have used it for YEARS and ended up moving about 10 clients away from it because of the cost. There are ways to build whatever you need without the monthly cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's fast! It takes longer to do your own coding.

What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE Formstack forms - I go way back - to the FORMSPRING days. I used them at the Queen Mary for every RSVP form, feedback form, and more, and at FOX Sports for every contest we hosted. It’s a very flexible tool that works across all browsers, and I’ve had zero issues integrating it across multiple CMSs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is pretty awesome. That said, on the few occasions when I ran into issues implementing a form, getting help from support felt more complicated than it needed to be. It took multiple emails, and I ended up explaining the same issue over and over to different people. Overall, it wasn’t the best support experience I’ve had while working in tech. Hopefully they’ve improved that service since my last engagement with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You have no idea how many different types of forms a webmaster ends up needing—RSVPs, Contact Us pages, contest entries, and more. It adds up fast. Having a tool that’s flexible and easy to use is really helpful, and it checks a lot of boxes when you need to build robust forms in a short amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Formstack Forms very easy to use and appreciate the vast integration options it offers. I use it to create dynamic yet simple forms for both internal and external purposes. The integration capabilities are particularly beneficial as we use Formstack Forms with Stripe to collect payments and integrate it with our CRM via Zapier. It's a great tool that allows us to streamline our processes efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only key challenge we have with it right now is that it isn't directly embedded into our current CRM (HubSpot).

Formstack Forms allows us to create dynamic yet simple forms, ideal for internal and external purposes. Its ease of use and integrations with Stripe and Zapier streamline payment collection and CRM integration.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it solved a problem we had at the time and got rid of the paper form we were using and it integrated into Google Sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Where do I even start? It is clunky, the design options are terrible, and unless you are a software developer, there is no way to make it look better. The integrations would constantly fail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is not solving any problems right now. It is causing problems. I just haven't had time to move our last workflow to Jotform.
