What do you like best about the product?

Autodesk Fusion makes it much easier to move from an idea to a finished 3D design without switching between different applications. I mainly use it for parametric modeling, simple assemblies, and preparing designs for prototyping. The timeline feature is especially useful because changing dimensions later automatically updates the model, which saves a lot of time during revisions. The interface feels organized, and once you become familiar with the workspace, everyday design tasks become much more efficient. Having CAD, basic simulation, and manufacturing tools in one platform helps keep the workflow simple and reduces the need to export files between different software.

What do you dislike about the product?

The software depends quite a bit on a stable internet connection for cloud features, and larger assemblies can sometimes feel slower on mid-range hardware. Frequent interface updates also take a little time to get used to, especially when commonly used tools are moved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fusion helps reduce the time required to create, modify, and prepare 3D models for prototyping. Parametric modeling makes design changes much easier because I don't have to rebuild parts from scratch after every revision. Keeping design, manufacturing preparation, and collaboration in one application makes projects more organized and helps complete design work with fewer interruptions.

What do you like best about the product?

It’s the most versatile 3D CAD design software, with an intuitive user experience that makes it easy to work with.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes it lags a lot on the cloud server side when I’m saving design files, which can slow down the whole process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great for rapid prototyping, 3D modeling, simulations, and similar tasks with various plugins for generative designs.

Powerful, lots of online education resources

Trial License setup,
The repeated re-installation of the software.

What do you like best about the product?

I am using fusion 360 for mire than 5 years, and I think its great software for 3D modelling, part design,assembly design, and hybrid design, its very easy to design compared to other software like solidworks, Catia,

What do you dislike about the product?

Its update in week 1 or 2 they have updates, which will undermine the other existing features , like earlier we have a featire of exporting directly the body into stl file or a component into stl file but now until and unless we save the component’s file we won’t get an option for exporting to Stl file so i think weekly update isn’t good

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hybrid design, auto generating Bom with OPEN Bom, easy rending, easy assembly design

What do you like best about the product?

I find Autodesk Fusion great for allowing modeling of 3D meshes with real-world measurements. I like the ability to easily do things with shortcuts, like clicking a plane to have the extrude automatically snap to it. Also, the learning curve was noticeably smaller compared to Blender, which I appreciate.

What do you dislike about the product?

Using the features to create movement are clunky, and joining multiple fixtures together is quite difficult.

Autodesk Fusion allows me to model 3D meshes using real-world measurements.

It is easy to arrange my drawing, easy to use and configuration was super simple

Lisencing is little bit stip, and digs deeper in the pockets

We use mostly to design mining structures, drawings and pipping drawings

What do you like best about the product?

I love the easy transitioning between CAD and CAM. I use the CAM a lot and will often need to make quick modifications to the model and switching between them has never been easier.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find the CAD workflow not as intuitive as I like. I have been using Solidworks as my main CAD program for a long time and so I am biased, but I find there may be too many steps, in some cases, to execute certain actions in the CAD workflow of fusion. Albeit, still a great CAD compared to many others.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It absolutely is the CAM portion of the software. I use it program a simultaneous 5-axis CNC machine and it has made it very easy to do what used to be an extremely complicated task to determine best and safe operations within 5-axis machining.

What do you like best about the product?

It’s easy to use, with a seamless transition from design to 3D printing and/or CNC machining. The flexible modeling techniques, along with the parametric components, are especially helpful and beneficial.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s expensive, and it has some weaknesses when it comes to handling complex assemblies.

Team collaboration and data management

The user interface is really good, and the price is very competitive compared with other CAD tools like Fusion.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don’t like that the project is stored in the cloud; I prefer to keep the project locally. Also, performance could be better when opening the .exe.

Fusion helps us with some 3D printing and with designing a case for an illuminator.

The collaboration functionality and optional plugins makes this the perfect tool for colaborating

Sometimes the updates contain large changes to the layout of the program but after some practice this gets easy to understand

I use this for mainly fdm 3d printing designs and quick prototypes
