What do you like best about the product?
How fast and detailed it is, even without payment.
What do you dislike about the product?
On rare occasions, it doesn’t give me what I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to spend hours trying to make a model, and it still wouldn’t look good. With Tripo, it only takes minutes at most, and the result is detailed.

Surprisingly Usable Results, Great for prototypes

What do you like best about the product?
While you need to be conscious about what you have as source material and what you want as output, it's surprisingly good at making "something usable.
The low poly/smart mesh feature is pretty good to make low poly/ ps2 style assets (limit the poly count to something between 4 and 8 thousand and you're good to go).
Exporting is limited, but the blender bridge saves a lot of time with dumb import issues because of scale or format quirks.
The processing is fast for my standards (because i'm not in a hurry), but if you want to make anything in bulk, it will take some hours.
For pricing, the starter pack is 100% worth it (gives a lot of features for a fraction of price of meshy).
The biggest point of attention is to keep an eye on your token consumption. Making models is a funny activity in itself and you can end up burning hundreds of tokens just "out of curiosity" or with a bad input. Sadly the AI doesn't suggest how to improve the input to make more consistent models.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI could benefit from more detailed tooltips, and maybe a free “tutorial mode” with premade assets to demonstrate the ideal workflow and highlight best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m creating prototype assets to test a game project. I want them to resemble the concept art, but finishing the model properly would take me days. Even though AI-generated models won’t be used in the final product, having something close to the intended look makes it much easier to visualize and iterate on the game prototype.
That said, these assets shouldn’t be shipped as-is in a final release, since doing so could risk backlash from your audience.

Accurate 3D Modeling, Easy Setup, Needs Better Rendering
Reviewed on May 21, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Tripo Studio provides accurate 3D models and ready-to-be-modeled images. It makes it easy for me to create models for character creation, which I can later use in a potential video game. Also, the initial setup of Tripo Studio was very easy for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hair rendering, like most platforms, is very blocky and sometimes passes through the model. The same thing also happens with dresses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tripo Studio for art design and 3D modeling. It provides accurate 3D models and ready-to-be-modeled images, making it easy to create character models for potential video games.

The first time I logged in, the servers seemed to be having some issues. But it was resolved after a few minutes, and I was able to appreciate the excellent quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't know anything about modeling, but I bought a 3D printer to make my figures. Tripo is incredible; it lets me take pictures of my characters and make them 3D. The technology is amazing.

Preliminary Results Excellent, But Lacking Confidence
Reviewed on May 17, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Tripo Studio achieves very good preliminary results in terms of texture and has decent precision and decent detail. It also helps me save a lot of time in making filler models.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI in general destroys UV and sometimes generates unworkable models. Also, not being able to download anything at first doesn't allow you to see if it's worth buying. Tripo Studio is paid and you can't review the results without paying, which creates uncertainty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tripo Studio saves a lot of time in creating filler models and provides good texture results despite not being suitable for main models.

Impressive 3D Modeling with Room for Improvement
Reviewed on May 15, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Tripo Studio lets me generate good-looking, high-detail, and accurate 3D models without having to wait too long. I like that it allows me to regenerate a model if it doesn't turn out how I like. I believe the actual model generator works extremely well as it can capture the details of just a single image into one whole model extremely well. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be very simple and easy to figure out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real issue is that while being able to generate models from images, it would be nice to add a small text box along with it to allow small adjustments to be made before it generates the model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tripo Studio lets me generate good-looking, high-detail, and accurate 3D models quickly without long waits.
