WIZ Product Review: A Game-Changer for Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to connect the product to various cloud resources and providers and start receiving high-quality insights on the security posture. The UX in this product is one of the best on the market. The product is straightforward to navigate. Adding custom rules and activating pre-defined rules that align with our business is as simple as it gets.
What do you dislike about the product?
We work in an outpost configuration. There are cases in which the upgrade goes through successfully but components but in practice, the component stops functioning and requires the intervention of the Wiz development team to solve the problem. In addition, It isn't easy to understand what the level of coverage is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we implemented WIZ, I have to say; it has been a game-changer for us. Before implementing this product, we were constantly worried about the security of our cloud systems. We were practically blind about the state of our cloud security posture. Now we can see in every corner several angles. We are able to monitor and assess our security posture in real-time, ensuring that our data is always secure. It also provides alerts for any potential vulnerabilities or threats, allowing us to take immediate action to prevent any potential security breaches.

On boarding is immediate. UI is easy to use. The insights you get are great. Constant improvement and new capabilities. Great product!

I did not see any real issue with this product.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to centralize most of the security activities in one tool makes it helpful to avoid spending resources usually required to maintain multiple.
The querying engine is really helpful in understanding the scope of what's mostly being affected.

Even though I mentioned the querying engine, I'm not fond of graphql. It took me a while to get used to it.
Reporting could also take in a bit more work, but I honestly haven't used enough to tell exactly what.

What do you like best about the product?
For me, the simplicity of using Wiz is its most vital point. With a few clicks, we managed to have complete visibility of all our assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes is painful to wait 24 hours when we need to rescan multiple connectors/subscriptions ASAP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility of internal cloud assets. With Wiz, we can understand where we need to move our efforts to better protect our company.

There is very little to dislike. Experience has shown that the Wiz platform is constantly evolving to meet the needs of security professionals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contextualisation of cloud security risks is a constant challenge. The cloud platform providers typically align security advisories with best practices without any understanding of the environment. This can lead to saturation and, at worst, desensitisation amongst non-security professionals, impacting ongoing security engagement. Wiz provides context based on the configuration of your cloud environment, reducing the pressure on the security function to translate vulnerability data into tangible risks. The Wiz graph is invaluable in this regard.
