User-Friendly Notebooks easy conversion from SQL to dataframes
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use notebooks, ai assistant and easy SQL to dataframes conversion
What do you dislike about the product?
The built-in charts cells needs some improvements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data exploring and machine learning code
Easy Setup, Powerful AI Assistance
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to set up, and I appreciate being able to use both SQL and Python. Deepnote AI is also extremely helpful, especially when it comes to debugging and quickly visualizing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to add at this point, but I'm interested to see how Deepnote AI develops in the future. Occasionally, it has difficulty keeping up with multiple follow-up requests, yet overall, my experience has been positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to assist me with a quick data analysis using DeepAI, and it worked well.
Effortless Collaboration and Real-Time Editing with Deepnote
What do you like best about the product?
Deepnote makes collaboration on data science and research projects effortless. I really like its real-time editing, version control, and easy cloud-based setup. It’s great for teaching, code reviews, and sharing results without complex configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, large datasets can cause slower performance, and offline access options are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deepnote makes collaboration on coding, data analysis, and documentation effortless. It helps me and my team work on the same notebooks in real time without worrying about version conflicts or environment setup. It’s also great for teaching and research because I can easily share code and visualizations with others. This saves a lot of time and makes projects more organized and reproducible.
Great Collaboration and AI Features, but Pricing Limits Wider Access
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Deepnote enables me and my team to share work and collaborate, thus building off of each other's strengths.
I have loved the AI automations on Deepnote that enable me to ask a question in natural language and for Deepnote to generate working code for me to run out of the box.
I have loved the AI automations on Deepnote that enable me to ask a question in natural language and for Deepnote to generate working code for me to run out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deepnote could do better to create more affordable options for teams. The price for example means only a few members in our organisation have access e.g. I can't share my notebook with people outside the data team as they aren't subscribed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deepnote helps me perform my Data Science and Machine Learning tasks, integrating everything I need from data retrieval from our SQL databases, running analyses, presenting findings, and building simulation apps.
Efficient collaboration with Deepnote, but potential for optimization in loading times
What do you like best about the product?
Deepnote enables us to collaborate efficiently on data analyses for customer projects. The cloud-based environment is modern and clearly designed. Particularly helpful is the ability to share notebooks directly with colleagues and work on them together. The integration of various data sources works well and saves time on project work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the loading times for larger datasets could be optimized. Some advanced features are only available in higher pricing tiers. The offline functionality is naturally limited, as it is a cloud solution.

Review of Deepnote
What do you like best about the product?
Coming from Jupyter Notebook, I found Deepnote much more convenient for research in many ways. It was my first time doing research on a fully web-based platform, and I was very impressed—it felt far superior to Colab. File management and the overall experience stood out as particularly impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
When compared to Cursor, the AI features feel very underpowered. The lack of an agent-like mode makes the workflow feel significantly less convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deepnote is helping me streamline restaurant data analysis by providing a collaborative, cloud-based environment where everything is organized and easy to access. Instead of dealing with the limitations of local Jupyter notebooks or Colab, I can manage files, run analyses, and share results much more efficiently. This makes it easier to track performance metrics, experiment with different models, and ultimately make more data-driven decisions for the business.
Best notebooks I've found
What do you like best about the product?
I've used several different notebooks: jupyter, databricks, colab, kubeflow. Out of everything I have tried, Deepnote gives me what I need. It is easiest for collaboration, easiest for scaling appropriately, easiest for choosing different environments and getting set up. It is just what I need, and I hope they keep improving it in these practical ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
It costs a bit much for the first tier past free. I am an individual, and not comfortable paying so much per month just to collaborate with a few people. It should cost about half that, to be more comfortable to individuals. I'd pay $25 per month, not $50.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for whatever I need in data science (ML, AI, network science, prototyping)
Deepnote Makes Data Work Simple and Organized
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Deepnote with my team. I like how I can work across different notebooks and easily control access — for example, giving certain team members the ability to see results without touching or seeing the code. The ability to copy and share a link to a specific block is incredibly useful, and the overall organization makes collaboration seamless. Even though I’m not a coding expert, Deepnote feels very intuitive and user-friendly, which makes working with data much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven’t found anything that significantly hinders my work — it meets my needs very well. However, sometimes performance slows with very large datasets, but it’s definitely not a frequent issue for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deepnote helps me keep all the code I need organized in one place and accessible to my team. It makes it very easy to share results, collaborate, and control who can view or edit the code. This saves time, keeps our work consistent, and improves team efficiency
