Its easy to share large amount of files in secured way with expiration policy

Since it is cloud hosted - at time file upload takes lot of time

I used it to upload files and compose secure emails when sharing documents with internal teams and external stakeholders. The security features like encryption and access control help ensure that confidential data is protected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can take some time to get used to, especially for new users. Sometimes navigating between features like file sharing and secure email can feel a bit complex. Also, transferring very large files may take longer depending on the network speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kiteworks helps securely transfer files and send protected emails without worrying about data leaks. In a corporate environment like Infosys, it ensures that sensitive documents are shared safely with the right people. This improves security, compliance, and makes collaboration easier across teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Kiteworks for its strong security and compliance controls, which gives me confidence when handling sensitive data. The built-in encryption, access controls, and policy enforcement mean secure behavior is the standard without having to remember additional steps. This significantly reduces accidental data exposure and makes compliance manageable. I appreciate the unified platform that consolidates secure email, managed file transfers, external collaboration, and audit reporting, simplifying workflows and reducing costs. The comprehensive audit trails and visibility help quickly answer questions like who accessed a file and when a download was shared. I also value Kiteworks' tight integration with identity providers, allowing user access and permissions to be managed centrally and making Kiteworks feel like a natural extension of our IT environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and configuration of Kiteworks can be complex, especially for organizations without dedicated IT or security resources. The onboarding process, particularly configuring policies, identity integration (SSO/LDAP), and encryption settings, can feel overwhelming. There are many powerful options, which can mean a steeper learning curve up front. The security and policy configuration has many moving parts and requires careful configuration to avoid impacting compliance or usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Kiteworks to replace insecure attachments with encrypted, tracked exchanges, ensuring compliant file transfers. It integrates well with identity management, aligning access with roles and easing user deprovisioning. Previously, we struggled with governance and visibility, which Kiteworks resolved with comprehensive audit trails.

I find the mobile app non-intuitive for on-the-go U.S. field teams. It has slow load times for large files like FINRA-regulated financial reports, lacks offline access for marked files, and the share link generator is hidden in nested menus. The initial setup was a mixed experience for our U.S.-based mid-market enterprise with specific regulatory obligations and a lean IT team.

What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Kiteworks for securely sharing sensitive files and important documents with clients and colleagues. The audit log is one of my favorite features because I can see exactly who opened a file and when. This transparency makes file sharing much more trustworthy. I really like how easily I can control who can view, download, or forward the files. Setting permissions feels very straightforward and reliable. I also appreciate that they make file sharing safer and more transparent as I can manage access easily and track every action taken on my documents. Additionally, the integration with Microsoft Outlook for sending secure links and notifications is handy, and after the basic configuration, my team got comfortable quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of Kiteworks feel a little complex for new users. The interface could be smoother and more modern. Large file uploads can be slow sometimes. Mobile usability could be better.

I like how Kiteworks plays super well with Office 365 and Salesforce, making secure sharing part of my workflow. It means I share secure files without leaving Office 365 or Salesforce, which saves time and keeps my workflow smooth. I also found the initial setup very easy and cool, which is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features feel a bit tacky. Some workflows could be more intuitive. Maybe simplify file-sharing steps? Suggestion: drag-and-drop plus clearer CTAs could boost the user experience.

The audit logs feature provides detailed tracking for compliance and security monitoring, and mobile access allows me to securely access files and data on-the-go via the mobile app. The customer support is a positive aspect as well. Additionally, I value specific features like secure file sharing, with granular access controls and encryption, audit logs, managed file transfer which is reliable and automated, and email security with end-to-end encryption for sensitive communications. These features streamline secure collaboration and compliance. The initial setup was extremely easy, which I really appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kiteworks has some areas for improvement. Here are a few: I find the interface a bit complex, especially for new users, because of its strong security features. Customer support could be faster; sometimes there are delays in their response. I wish there was more customization available in workflows and UI. The file management and organization aren't the best and could be improved. Pricing is on the higher side, and this might be challenging for smaller businesses. I've faced some integration challenges with other tools. The mobile app isn't very polished and could be more user-friendly. There's no automated offboarding process for end-users, which is a hassle. Lastly, I think a scheduled upgrade function would be helpful instead of manual updates.

The mobile app UX could be smoother, and sometimes sync takes a bit long. The mobile app can feel a bit clunky navigating folders, and sync delays sometimes make accessing the latest files tricky. Offline access feature would help big time. The setup wasn't too crazy, but I needed some help getting user permissions and folders sorted right.

The advanced access control is awesome as it lets me limit who sees what, set permissions per file/folder, and revoke access anytime. It's also really useful that Kiteworks plays nice with Office 365, Salesforce, and Dropbox, allowing me to share secure files within familiar workflows. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus.

Like I said earlier, sometimes the UI feels a bit dense. More intuitive navigation or tagging for files would help.

Administration and configuration require effort. More guided setup workflows or opinionated 'secure-by-default' templates for common use cases would reduce early friction. The initial setup was manageable but not easy.
