Secure Password Management, Common security practices

  • April 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how LastPass allows me to ensure that my staff have access to the common accounts they need without having to send passwords in plaintext. This is great for maintaining security compliance and protecting both our staff and our customers.

The cost is a challenge as there is no adhoc adjustment available. You can always increase your number of licences but you can't drop until the next renewal. This is fine if it's a monthly deal but annually that can add up.

The interface is manageable. The ability to load passwords into a folder and then share that folder is significant. It means that specific roles or projects can have a shared experience.

We can also load in banking details, allowing the appropriate teams to be able to make purchases without the risk of losing a card.
What do you dislike about the product?
Password syncing isn’t as fast as I’d expect. At times, it can take up to 30 minutes for changes to propagate across all of my accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LastPass for security compliance and password management, ensuring staff access common accounts without plaintext passwords, protecting staff and customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to save more than just passwords and addresses is key. Having credit cards and secure notes are extra perks!
What do you dislike about the product?
It no longer gives the UN/PW options as drop-downs in the actual fields. That was super helpful, especially since I have several logins for some websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency is key and having all my secure information available at all times is fantastic!

Robust Security Features with Some Performance Issues

  • April 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to save obscure passwords in a vault that is auditable and controllable by IT admins. As an IT organization, it's important for us to ensure the passwords we use to access our systems and intellectual property are secure. Also, having an audit trail is useful, especially in litigation, to show who accessed what. Additionally, the ability to move passwords between accounts, allowing them to survive employee termination, adds great value. LastPass was very easy to set up initially. Years ago, we just imported a CSV of our passwords, which made the process seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The LastPass browser extension often is very slow to respond and it doesn't matter which computer or browser I use it in. It just feels very sluggish often. And the other problem is that the account linking through the family benefits fails often. So our shared personal folders disappear, and I have to unlink and relink the account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LastPass for enterprise password management, securing shared passwords, and saving obscure passwords in an auditable vault. It provides IT control, ensuring our passwords are secure, surviving employee changes, and an audit trail for litigation.

Very secure way to store passwords for hundreds of web sites. Enhances Team Productivity, Setup Needs Improvement

  • April 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Unique passwords. We have over 650 web site log in's that all have a unique, 16 digit password. I really like that LastPass works cross-platform, which is super helpful since my team uses a mix of iPhones, Macs, and Windows laptops. It’s great for collaboration because it works with a team account and shared folders, making it easy for us to manage one password for a critical website that we all use daily. This shared access is really important for keeping our productivity up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process for LastPass and pulling passwords out of browser saved passwords, and then also getting it installed on different browsers, whether it be Google Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Edge, is not quite as transparent. Also, inviting a new team member or a new person to a shared folder does not seem to work as seamlessly as it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LastPass ensures our team has synchronized passwords, even after overnight changes, solves cross-device password updates, and provides unique passwords for 650 websites, enhancing security.

Convenient, Secure Password Management That Keeps Daily Work Organized

  • April 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about LastPass is the convenience it brings to daily work. As part of a real estate business, we use many different tools and accounts, and LastPass helps keep everything organized, secure, and easy to access. The autofill and password generator save time, reduce friction, and make it much easier to follow good security practices consistently.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most is that it can occasionally feel a bit clunky, especially when autofill does not recognize a login page perfectly or when you have multiple saved entries for similar websites. In those moments, it adds a small amount of friction. But overall, the benefits still clearly outweigh those minor annoyances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LastPass solves the problem of securely managing a large number of passwords across different platforms, tools, and team accounts. In our day-to-day work, that means we do not have to rely on weak passwords, repeated passwords, or manual tracking in documents or notes. It helps us stay organized, saves time during login, and reduces the risk of access issues when multiple systems are involved. The main benefit is that it improves both security and efficiency, which is especially valuable in a business environment where trust and professionalism matter.
