Powerful Unified Visibility with Advanced Analytics, But Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Unified visibility is provided across hybrid, cloud, and on-premise environments. Skylar AI offers predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup comes with a steep learning curve, and I have also encountered some issues with alert tuning, including occasional false positives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ScienceLogic offers an AIOPS platform that uses machine learning-driven insights and automation to enhance event noise reduction.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the SL1 service they provide. Also, they make the monitoring process and diagnosing issue faster
What do you dislike about the product?
As such their service meets expectations, but the initial setup is a complex part and learning to work on it is steep curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to monitor the applications server, and figure out issue and diagnoss them.

A Highly Customizable Monitoring Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The ScienceLogic Platform is a very large, complex piece of Software, Like any platform it does have its Pros and cons.
It can monitor a wide variety of devices and has done our company very well for the last 5 years.
The platform can be moulded or manipulated to be very flexible with "Run Book" Automations, and you can get the platform to perform a Plethora of tasks, but you do need Python skills to be able to write snippets of code you require.
For normal device monitoring like Windows, Linux, Fortigate Devices etc... this patform does do a very good job of monitoring what is required and you can also add additional "Dynamic Apps" to monitor other metrics that can be pulled from said device.
All in all - ScienceLogic is a very customizable platform and I would say is one of the Top monitoring Solutions for Business use.
The platform can be easily used by NOC operators for daily use puposes, but can be quite complex for Admin use.
Customer Support is very good, I normally get a response from any issues i may have logged on the portal the very same day.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain "Out of the Box" automations which are lacking, for example... there is currently no way to just ignore high CPU alerts during a specific period without putting the entire device into maintenance mode.
This has been requested a few times and has a good communtiy backing for being an "Out Of The Box" solution.
I am currently waiting on feedback from SL Engineering to get this implemented as this would be highly beneficial for Event reduction in our environment.

ScienceLogic SL1 has a steep learning curve, as the system is highly customizable. This is however also one of it's major strengths and well worth the effort of getting accustomed to.

Pros and Cons of using ScienceLogic Platform
What do you like best about the product?
We are a managed service provider with responsibilities to monitor and remediate issues on client environments. Man-hours and scaling support per engineer is always a big issue, faster RCA and remediation or automated tasks helps to reduce effort to resolution. Scope is a large number of customers through a single monitoring platform, mostly infrastructure, OS and platform support.

Merge the nextui and classic to finally get everything in one, understandable that this happens over time but sometimes tricky to educate users to the subtle differences

ScienceLogic SL1 is a best infrastructure observability platform, comes with AIOPS features.
Gathers massive amout of metrics which will be very useful during troubleshooting.
It has the ability to discover and map out of every component is very powerful and critical in speedy RCA determination.

ScienceLogic SL1 collector comes with VM image but it doesn't support for company standard vulnerability.

We have enabled all 3 major public cloud monitoring, database monitoring, process/service monitoring and enabled key metrics for our internal servers hosted in public cloud. Integrated with service-now for incident creation for all alerts created in SL1 .
