What do you like best about the product?

Scytale helped us understand all the requirements and controls for SOC 2. We worked with Kamran Naicker, who was truly incredible - extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process. He was always willing to jump on a quick call and help me out whenever I got stuck or had a question.

What do you dislike about the product?

There’s nothing I didn’t like about Scytale.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale is helping us with our Soc 2 compliance.

What do you like best about the product?

The audit support is excellent. Scytale has a great team that guides you through the process and genuinely helps you manage the trickier parts of the audit itself, which makes it much easier to stay focused on the ISMS.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some of the automated integrations can feel a bit rough occasionally, but this is a minor distraction.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps to keep the ISMS on track. Automated evidence monitoring is good both for the audits themselves, and to help monitor compliance in near real time.

What do you like best about the product?

The platform dashboard is very intuitive and provides easy access to the tasks we perform on a daily basis.

It handles every aspect of our workload, which is exactly what we need at this stage.

The integration functions are enabled and working perfectly.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to give a special shout-out to our consultant, Romy Spencer, who has been incredibly supportive since day one and has provided us with the guidance needed to complete our tasks successfully.

Romy is always there for us, answering any questions and helping us navigate more complex queries whenever they arise.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, there isn’t anything in particular that I dislike. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to provide more detailed information about the platform’s AI features, since that would help users understand them better and make fuller use of the platform’s capabilities.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Completing our process-related tasks is now faster and more efficient. We’ve cut down the time we spend on internal reviews, collecting documentation, and bringing everything together in one place.

What do you like best about the product?

The Scytale commercial, consulting, and support teams are very nice to work with. They’re easy to reach and consistently available, flexible, supportive, resourceful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The platform is feature-rich and provides great guidance for working through the certification steps and cycles. Since this was our first time, it felt daunting at the beginning. It integrates well with most common technology providers, although integrating with, for example, a regional cloud provider was complex and time-consuming unless you have solid technical knowledge. Luckily the support rep was very helpful both in chat as well as in an online session to help us out. The platform responds quickly and performs well. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to refresh following taken actions; so it's near time not real time. Although refresh doesn't take more than a day normally. UI could be made a little more intuitive; being new to it it took some time to understand the various routes one could follow to get to the same source materials. It's very helpful to get the intelligence from the platform through the provided templates that can easily be complemented, changed or removed in case it's not applicable. Pricing has been favourable compared to other providers with similar services and is by far better then picking a local traditional firm in this space. While the level of ongoing support, guidance and knowledge of the consultant is high standard.

What do you dislike about the product?

The UI could be enhanced to make it more intuitive for people less familiar with this matter. Would have preferred to consume the services directly from Scytale instead of having had to set up an AWS account first.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had no clue where to start. Even when applying most common LLMs (paid versions) it was unclear what is and isn't required for our business, despite the extensive prompting we tried. Scytale understands the context, SaaS models and provides a base line of required documentation for the specific certification as well as preempting what evidence is required to back it up. This speeds up out time to market (by months), first time right in order to obtain our 'licence to operate' in the regulated market we play in.

What do you like best about the product?

It’s easy to use, and Romy’s advice is direct and to the point. We previously worked with a provider who overcomplicated everything, so the difference feels like night and day.

Actually can't think of anything........

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a small team and being iso27001 compliant can be time consuming. The platform is a real time saving with required actions being made clear

Makes complying to SOC II much easier, especially if you have someone that's nice and professional like Kamran

A lot of bureaucracy, but they actually help with streamlining it

The service was very pleasant, and I had a real person helping me throughout the entire process, which made everything quick and effective. the UI and UX were clear and made things simple , so the ROI on our time invested in working with them and on the price made was so reasonable I recommended it to multiple friends by now. a solid platform

We had to work with them on SOC, and that’s never much fun.

It expedited our compliance process by giving us access to a wide range of pre-formatted documents that we could easily adjust to fit our specific needs.

What do you like best about the product?

The platform is user-friendly, with outstanding actions and requirements clearly visible. It also offers many useful features, such as sending reminder emails to employees who haven’t completed training or acknowledged policies.

Our advisor, Marene, has been incredibly helpful throughout. She breaks down complex issues into clear, easy-to-understand guidance, responds to questions promptly, and has gone the extra mile to make sure we’re fully prepared for our audit period.

What do you dislike about the product?

There have been a few minor bugs on the platform. For example, the spreadsheet import feature didn’t work. However, Marene helped us resolve it and also put in a lot of manual work to ensure our data was uploaded correctly.

They provide clear, easy-to-understand guidance, actionable steps, and support that help us prepare for our SOC 2 audit period.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Scytale for its no-nonsense efficiency. I appreciate the support from the team, especially our contact, Kamran Naicker, who has been great. The user-friendliness of the platform is also a plus.

There is a lot to enter, which would be difficult to find without the help of a Scytale consultant;

Scytale guides us through the ISO certification process, helping set up procedures, managing tests, checks, and trainings, and finding vendors.
