FTP Server Not Included:

What do you like best about the product?
It brings numerous useful features together in a quite intuitive interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes up a lot of RAM and configaration is also a hassle.

Quick and Easy Way to Set Up Local Hosting
What do you like best about the product?
When I started on my site I wanted to test things out locally before jumping on a dedicated host, XAMPP is quite intuitive and it has an easily configurable environment. It's great for people who want to start out with their web dev journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first few hours of setting it up can be quite challenging, although I'm not really finding a lot of negatives with using the program, some QOL upgrade re settings would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Local Hosting, quick tools to via WSL to run Apache and MySQL, but it's great for because it has a pre-configured apache webserver, php stack, and mysql server + phpMyAdmin so you can get started with programming / configuring your website right away.

It helps developers in giving such a nice environment so they can easily host there website or some other applications using XAMPP server I will totally recommend this.

You might face issues in installation as your system should be compatible and system configuration should be enough to run the XAMPP server smoothly else it pretty good.

Once your development is done so you need some platform where you will host your website and test all the functioning of it so XAMPP provides you the platform to host your things.

XAMPP Server is a small size and easily available tool which one should definitely use to host there business application it also supports MySQL and Tomcat so its good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a heavy tool so your system configuration should be at least 6gb of RAM as it has different modules which you can run simultaneously to consume most of your RAM.

I used XAMPP server in my project to host one of the HR related application that is OrangeHR and also used to connect with MariaDB so its a multi-combination package.

XAMPP server is small in size it has multiple features and we can host diffrent type of module like Apache, MySql, online SQL, Mercury, Tomcat and filezilla and also it is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One should have server knowledge like port number and how to deploy application on servers and sometimes it also crashes. As it consumes most part of your RAM.

It is helpful in hosting different type of module through one server only so we don't have ti download MySQL, Apache and Tomcat separately. So it saves our disk space.
A Good server to host your Applications.

The server is easy to set up I am using it to host the Orange HR application while I have integrated with SailPoint IIQ so the setup is easy and the UI is simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes due to memory issue their are chances that the server might crash so you should have enough RAM to run this server otherwise its a good and easy to use.

XAMPP is designed for local development and testing purpose and it is very efficient tool but compatibility issue can be seen. But still it is very powerful and handy for deploying any application on local servers.

It is very useful for developers as before launching any software, it is very important that the software is tested properly and working properly. XAMPP provides the environment for deployment and testing. It is very helpful for the developer for finding any issue. It is easy to install and works efficiently. It provides various components such as Apache, MariaDB, and FTP, saving our time and effort in individually installing and configuring each component.

The best part of this tool is that it is so lightweight and so easy to use. Everything comes built in. I love it

I don’t think i have anything to dislike about it. If I had to, then I would say that configuration files should be transformed into a GUI tool too for good UX

XAMPP is easy to install and get up and running on Windows, which for beginners is a great thing, but this is probably not a stack that you would you use for a production deployment
What do you dislike about the product?
Although easy to get up and running it is not something that gives enough freedom to a experience user that would be a suitable production deployment for a project, it is good for development and prototyping but no High Scale Deployment

We needed a quick challenge for Interviewing candidates to a position and this was easier to spin as a sandbox environment outside of our infrastructure to provide challenges to the candidates
