Context-Aware Code Reviews with Actionable, One-Click Fixes

    Reviewed on Aug 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about CodeRabbit is how context-aware its code reviews are. It catches potential bugs and code-quality issues and explains why they matter, and the actionable suggestions—along with the one-click fixes—make it easy to improve the code quickly. I also appreciate that it integrates directly into my development workflow, so reviews happen smoothly without disrupting the coding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike is that CodeRabbit can sometimes generate too many comments, including suggestions that aren’t relevant or that feel needlessly nitpicky. I’d also like it to handle large pull requests more reliably, and to offer more control over what it reviews—for example, which repositories it covers or which types of changes it focuses on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeRabbit helps solve the problem of slow and inconsistent code reviews. It automatically reviews pull requests, identifies potential bugs, security issues, and code-quality problems, and provides actionable suggestions before the code is merged.

For me, this saves review time, helps catch issues I might miss during manual reviews, and gives me quick context about unfamiliar code. It also reduces the back-and-forth in PRs, allowing me to fix problems earlier and merge changes with more confidence.

Helpful PR Summaries and Edge-Case Catching, but Sometimes Too Many Comments

    Reviewed on Aug 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is that CodeRabbit catches things I sometimes miss during code reviews. Its comments are usually useful and easy to follow, especially when it comes to spotting edge cases or small issues. I also find the PR summary helpful when the changes are larger, because it lets me quickly understand what changed before I dive into the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it leaves too many comments, and not all of them feel truly important. I end up having to sift through them to figure out which ones are actually useful. On larger PRs, that extra review overhead can get a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me catch bugs and small mistakes before the code gets merged. It also saves me some time during code reviews because I don't have to manually check every small thing. I mainly use it as an extra check before merging my changes.

    Review for CodeRabbit

    Reviewed on Aug 28, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
AI-powered code review platform designed to automate and accelerate the pull request (PR) review process.
What do you dislike about the product?
    Noise, Excessive Comments, and "Hallucinations"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At its core, CodeRabbit solves the structural bottleneck of the modern software development lifecycle: code output has vastly outpaced human review capacity. With the explosive rise of AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude, developers are drafting massive amounts of code at unprecedented speeds. However, traditional manual code review remains tightly limited by human time. This imbalance creates critical friction points that CodeRabbit is specifically engineered to fix.

Catches bugs and bad patterns before they hit production, saves so much manual review time. Feedback is clear and actually helpful, not just noise like some other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes flags minor style issues that aren't really a big deal, adds a bit of noise to the comments. Also takes a little extra time to review its suggestions on bigger pull requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's cutting down manual code review time and catching issues early before they reach production. Team spends less time on nitpicky back-and-forth, so we merge PRs faster and with more confidence.

Fast GitHub Setup and Helpful PR Summaries, But Nitpicky and Slow on Big Diffs

    Reviewed on Aug 26, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Catches bugs before we merge that we'd have missed otherwise. Took like 5 minutes to set up on GitHub. Summaries help a lot on big PRs, don't have to read every line myself anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gets nitpicky on big PRs, half the comments aren't worth reading. Doesn't get our codebase's quirks so it flags stuff that's actually fine. Slow on bigger diffs too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PR queue was too slow for how much we ship, stuff was slipping through review. CodeRabbit catches the obvious bugs and security stuff upfront so we're not stuck reviewing typos and missed edge cases by hand. Saves time and's caught a few things we'd have missed.

Effortless AI Code Reviews with Great Precision

    Reviewed on Aug 25, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how CodeRabbit accurately highlights logic bugs right on the PR diff, catching genuine edge cases before merging code. It saves a lot of manual review time by instantly flagging potential syntax issues and security flaws. Integrated with GitHub, it automates daily checks and fits smoothly into the overall workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes generate too many minor suggestions on large pull requests, making the review feel cluttered. It also occasionally lacks deep context across complex multi-repository projects, though it performs great on single-repo tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeRabbit significantly speeds up our code review process by automatically catching syntax issues, security risks, and edge cases right after code is pushed. It acts as an efficient automated reviewer, saving a lot of manual verification time and preventing minor bugs from reaching production.
