What do you like best about the product?

What I liked most about CodeRabbit was that it made code reviews feel a lot more approachable. Even though it uses AI, the feedback didn't come across as overly technical or robotic. During the demo, I liked how it explained why something could be improved instead of just pointing out a problem, which makes it feel more helpful, especially if you're still learning.

I also really liked how it works directly with GitHub. Everything stays within the pull request, so you don't have to jump between different tools or copy code around. The AI summaries were also a nice feature because they gave a quick overview of what changed before diving into the details.

What do you dislike about the product?

Honestly, I didn't come away with any big complaints after the demo. If I had to pick something, I'd say there's a bit of a learning curve at the beginning just because there are so many features and settings. I think having a few more guided walkthroughs or beginner-friendly templates would make it feel less intimidating for someone using it for the first time.

I also wish there were a few more options to personalize the AI feedback. Every team reviews code a little differently, so being able to fine-tune the style or level of detail even more would be really nice.

The GitHub integration looked super smooth, which I loved, but if you're working across different platforms, I could see wanting more flexibility there too. As for pricing, it seems worth it if your team is constantly reviewing pull requests, but for smaller teams or solo developers, it might take a little longer to see the return on the investment.

Overall though, these aren't deal breakers at all. Most of what I'd want are just little quality-of-life improvements because the product itself looked really polished and easy to see yourself using.

The in-app editor plugin doesn't provide as much features as the full git based PR tool, and the free trial session cap limits are too short.
