What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can set up reminder emails with ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus, schedule when they go out, and even set repeated reminders. This way, I don't need to stay on top of it constantly, as it handles all the automation and contacting for me. The initial setup was very simple; I just had to follow the instructions. Though there was a small learning curve, the process has since improved, making it even smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service is much more capable and powerful than how I use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus to automate user password updates in Active Directory, which prevents expiration issues and automates reminder emails, saving me the hassle of manual follow-up.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus is its reliability and ease of use. It has significantly reduced the number of password reset requests by allowing users to securely manage their own accounts. The onboarding experience was well supported, and whenever we've contacted support, the team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and quick to assist. Overall, it's a dependable solution backed by excellent customer service.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the best thing about ADSSP is how flexible the product is. We have different requirements for different audiences, and we can fine-tune those requirements based on group membership. This lets us tailor the security experience to the type of user who is using the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest dislike is that it’s an on-prem system, so I have to maintain a server and handle the updates myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for initial password setup and for users who have forgotten their passwords. One of the main benefits is that we can easily populate users’ personal email addresses and phone numbers in the system, so they can use those factors during the initial setup. We can also require them to configure a stronger factor as part of that same initial setup process.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about AD Self-Service Plus is that it allows users to securely reset their passwords and unlock their accounts without having to contact the IT helpdesk, which significantly reduces the support team’s workload. It also makes it easier to configure strong password policies and send password-expiry notifications to users.
What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation I’ve noticed is that when you add a domain to AD Self-Service Plus, it requires the domain controller’s hostname instead of allowing you to use the domain controller’s IP address. This can create configuration difficulties in environments where DNS isn’t properly set up, or where hostname resolution from the AD Self-Service Plus server isn’t working correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AD Self-Service Plus helps us to solve the problem of high helpdesk workload caused by password resets and account lockout issues. By enabling users to securely reset passwords, unlock accounts and update their information themselves, it reduces support tickets, improves users' productivity, and enhances security through MFA.

What do you like best about the product?
Because our business has strict security requirements, we often end up with complex passwords and frequent requests for support to change local AD passwords. This solution helps by allowing users to securely reset their own passwords and unlock their accounts when they lock themselves out, which saves time for both employees and technicians.
Set up was easy and integrated into Active directory quick and no hassle. Users are auto synced frequently and always available. The Auto Erroll feature helps for new starters. UI looks quite dated, but its not the style but the features which is the key aspect. Along with other ManageEngine products it does what it says on the tin.

What do you dislike about the product?
It still feels very Windows 2000. The UI could be updated and more technician-friendly, but adding a bit more modern polish would bring it more in line with other Manage Engine products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users frequently are forgetting passwords or locking themselves out, this assists employees to have more dependancy to fix the issue without raising support requests to then wait for a tech, the tech can also spend time on more critical tasks

What do you like best about the product?
I like how quickly and efficiently ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus allows us to rebuild our entire system from scratch. They take the problems as their own and ensure we fully understand what's going on and how to fix it in the future. The initial setup was very easy, and they walked us through everything thoroughly and completely.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a great tool for auditing permissions within my company. It lets me quickly identify and list who has which AD permissions in just a couple of seconds, which is extremely helpful during audits. The user interface is easy to navigate and genuinely user-friendly as well. Integration was also very easy to set up. the support desk is also very helpful and prompt with there responses and are always on hand. its a great product at a great price!
What do you dislike about the product?
When I’m trying to find password lockouts, I feel the webpage response could be a bit more in-depth and provide more detail about what happened and where the lockout occurred.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cutting our Audit times in half as its now a one click search with a very fast response time.

What do you like best about the product?
Our primary reason for deploying ADSSP was to add MFA to our privileged and IT administration accounts. The wide array of MFA authenticators made deploying multiple MFA's possible. Installation was easy and maintaining the system has been a breeze.
We will likely roll out the self-service portal for users to unlock their accounts and change passwords. We also plan to deploy MFA for Outlook Web Access (OWA).

Frequent patch updates requiring several, manual steps. Ideally this would be done with an internal or automated update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were required to have an MFA solution for administrator accounts. ADSSP has been a breeze in meeting that requirement.
