    Shufti simplifies our KYC and identity verification process by automating customer verification. This helps us onboard customers faster, improve compliance, reduce manual effort, and minimize fraud risk.

    What do you like best about the product?
    We have been working with Shufti since 2020, and what we appreciate most is the level of support and collaboration they have provided over time. Whenever we have faced operational or technical issues, their team has been available to help us analyze the problem and find a workable solution.

    We also appreciate the continuous improvements made to the integration over the years, especially those aimed at supporting a mobile-first user experience. This is particularly important for our onboarding and KYC flows, where users often complete identity verification directly from mobile devices.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    One area for improvement is multilingual support. Since we operate in several languages, we have occasionally experienced translation issues, particularly around consistency, wording, and localization quality.

    We also experienced some limitations related to CSS customizations. When custom styling was applied to our flow, we were automatically excluded from certain general product or interface updates. This made it more difficult to benefit from ongoing improvements while maintaining a customized user experience.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    One of the main problems Shufti helps us solve is the need to provide a reliable and accessible identity verification process across different countries and user segments.

    A key driver in our decision to work with Shufti was their ability to support paper identity documents, which are still widely used in some markets, including Italy. This was particularly important for us because a significant portion of users may not have an electronic identity card or may still rely on traditional paper-based documents.

    What do you like best about the product?
    Shufti provides great ease of integration to their service and this has allowed our business to incorporate them into multiple journeys seamlessly. This has allowed us to expand our portfolio of services greatly in the digital channel.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    One improvement that would help our business greatly is the introduction of multiple accounts under an umbrella account as we support multiple markets and regions. The current model makes it very difficult and manual to attribute verifications to any one market.

    Shufti assists us with collecting and verifying customer information with flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of our different markets.

    What do you like best about the product?
    We use Shufti in the digital onboarding process of our clients and for the application of KYC and KYB procedures, and we are very happy with the results achieved. We mainly use the KYB tools, AML screening, and risk assessment.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Initially, we had difficulties with the API, but with the help of AI, we managed to achieve our goal.

    We use Shufti for digital onboarding, KYC, KYB, identity confirmation, identification and qualification of UBOs, as well as KYB tools, AML screening, and risk assessment.

    What do you like best about the product?
    Shufti hit the mark on the three things that matter most to us: pricing, responsiveness, and flexibility. The pricing is genuinely competitive compared to other identity verification providers we evaluated, which made it easy to justify at our scale. Their team responds fast when we reach out — no long support queues or waiting days for answers. And the platform is customizable enough to fit our actual onboarding flow rather than forcing us to bend our process around theirs. That combination is rare.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Honestly, little to complain about so far. The verification workflow does what we need, and any friction we've run into has been resolved quickly by their team.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    As an adult social platform, we have a hard legal requirement to verify age and identity at onboarding, and Shufti handles that reliably. Its biometric face verification lets us confirm real, unique users and screen out spoofing attempts, which is critical for trust and safety on our platform. We built a workflow around their decline codes — distinguishing capture-quality issues that warrant a retry from genuine liveness/spoofing failures that need a hard hold — and set auto-approval at a facial-match confidence threshold while keeping human moderators in the loop for edge cases. The result is faster, cleaner onboarding for legitimate users and a solid compliance posture on age and identity verification. Being able to tune the flow to our exact risk model, rather than accept a rigid off-the-shelf process, is what makes it work for us.
