On-premise deployment which is rare in this space, as gives firms privacy-conscious options. I like the Non-Latin OCR and tested it so actually works with documents in multiple languages/scripts, not just English

Shufti offers a straightforward and reliable KYC process with good coverage of different verification methods. The platform is relatively easy to integrate and manage, and the verification results are generally clear and easy to review. Their support team has also been responsive when we have needed assistance.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main area for improvement is that some verification cases can require additional manual review, which can slow down the process. The dashboard and reporting could also be a bit more intuitive in certain areas, especially when reviewing more complex cases.

Shufti helps us automate key parts of the KYC and identity verification process, including document and identity checks. This reduces the amount of manual work required from our team, helps us maintain a more consistent onboarding process, and allows us to handle customer verification more efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?

I've had a very positive experience with Shufti. The platform is intuitive and the verification process is fast. The support team has been responsive whenever needed. Shufti has helped us streamline onboarding and strengthen our compliance controls. I find it to be a reliable and highly recommended KYC/KYB solution. I like how easy it is to use, especially the easy way to check if a company or individual appears in any warning list. The initial setup was also quite easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find it difficult to locate the reasons for potential matches. It would be better if there was just a list with the reasons that you can check, instead of clicking on links that depend on the country of incorporation or nationality, as it can be quite difficult to find.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I find Shufti streamlines onboarding, strengthens compliance controls, and simplifies AML checks. It's intuitive and provides an easy way to check warning lists.

The application is somewhat difficult to navigate, and users may find it challenging to locate features or understand the expected workflow.

Shufti simplifies our KYC and identity verification process by automating customer verification. This helps us onboard customers faster, improve compliance, reduce manual effort, and minimize fraud risk.

What do you like best about the product?

We have been working with Shufti since 2020, and what we appreciate most is the level of support and collaboration they have provided over time. Whenever we have faced operational or technical issues, their team has been available to help us analyze the problem and find a workable solution.

We also appreciate the continuous improvements made to the integration over the years, especially those aimed at supporting a mobile-first user experience. This is particularly important for our onboarding and KYC flows, where users often complete identity verification directly from mobile devices.

What do you dislike about the product?

One area for improvement is multilingual support. Since we operate in several languages, we have occasionally experienced translation issues, particularly around consistency, wording, and localization quality.

We also experienced some limitations related to CSS customizations. When custom styling was applied to our flow, we were automatically excluded from certain general product or interface updates. This made it more difficult to benefit from ongoing improvements while maintaining a customized user experience.

One of the main problems Shufti helps us solve is the need to provide a reliable and accessible identity verification process across different countries and user segments.

A key driver in our decision to work with Shufti was their ability to support paper identity documents, which are still widely used in some markets, including Italy. This was particularly important for us because a significant portion of users may not have an electronic identity card or may still rely on traditional paper-based documents.

I mean it's alright I guess. I was able to perform KYC fine.

Not much. Everything is working as expected so far.

We definitely need more advanced AI features integrated into the dashboard to automatically optimize the user flow and minimize onboarding friction.

Shufti solves the problem of slow, manual identity verification that typically causes friction and user drop-off during registration. The benefit to us is a significantly faster, automated onboarding workflow that saves our team time, though we look forward to seeing even more advanced AI features to handle complex edge cases.

Shufti provides great ease of integration to their service and this has allowed our business to incorporate them into multiple journeys seamlessly. This has allowed us to expand our portfolio of services greatly in the digital channel.

What do you dislike about the product?

One improvement that would help our business greatly is the introduction of multiple accounts under an umbrella account as we support multiple markets and regions. The current model makes it very difficult and manual to attribute verifications to any one market.
