Simple, safe, and unbreakable
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with proxy servers is the primary use. It features an integrated url detection engine and works without issue with proxy servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It occasionally slows down client machines, and this product necessitates constant compatibility testing, especially when minor OS updates are released.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its easily integrated with our proxy solution and is very useful for prevent O day attack

Useful for Detecting Malware
What do you like best about the product?
This Symantec Content Analysis and Sandboxing tool effectively identified potential attacks or malware related to documents we download for work or URLs we may click on. It is easy to use and does the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our company tested out the software with us, but we ultimately switched because of its high cost. I believe this might be suitable for larger organizations where you can bundle this product with other Symantec products and get a discount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us proactively detect potential viruses and malware, and ensures that we take the necessary protocols to prevent any cyber-attacks. Ultimately it ensures our organization is not vulnerable.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Symantec is Symantec Malware Analysis – built into Content Analysis – coordinates with inline technologies, delivering real-time sandboxing, discovery, and protection before malware ever reaches a user.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far. In my recent experience with Symantec Content Analysis and Sandboxing, I have no problems or any dislikes in its core features and functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an all in one solution for sandboxing and content analysis wherein the traditional approach is to have two separate applications to do what Symantec is currently doing.

We mostly like the ransomware prevention feature and DLP

Instant scanning of newly inserted devices and software installed

A dual detection approach and a key component of Symantec ATP.
What do you dislike about the product?
This automated analysis solution is not user-friendly like Azure sentinel or defender for the cloud.

a SOAR for me with built-in remediation. I like its sandboxing approach and isolating malware from production.

It is the best endpoint protection application that helps to secure our network.

The graphical user interface is very small and not that much user friendly is one the disadvantage which is noticed.

What do you like best about the product?
The primary helpful feature of Symantec is the multilayer file inspection feature which protects from unknown threats and blocks them. It uses practical tools for malware analysis to ensure that only truly unknown content us brokered to sandboxes so Incident Response teams focus on real threats, not false alarms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no such feature which is least helpful with Symantec. Their products and solutions have always been better and their constant improvement has provided more features than ever.

Symantec Content Analysis and Sandboxing analyse content automatically before sending it to users. It analyses all content before sending it to the malware sandbox. Symantec Content Analysis helps us send out threat-free, secured content to potential customers and users.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the symantec application is that it is user friendly and highly secure with SSO access and it is not having any lag while using the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside about it is the cost is slightly higher than other applications and while installation the time taken is long and there is no proper set of terms for users to complete the installation.

The most important problems symantec content annalysis is solving is that it provides a good end point protection and it can be used widely across many teams within the org.
