Large-scale operational automation with Vicarius
What do you like best about the product?
Vicarius allows you to perform tasks that are very operational, such as executing scripts to validate disk space, clean temporary files, install applications, etc., which would be complicated to perform one by one in organizations with a large number of devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
To execute tasks, it does not allow importing a group of devices from a CSV file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Execution of massive tasks, application patching, operating system patching, vulnerability identification, inventory of applications and versions
Needs More Speed Despite Solid Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I think the speed of the vRx by Vicarius platform is valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the platform could be faster. I need more speed with the Vicarius platform when sending updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use vRx by Vicarius to send updates about our programs.
Efficient Security Management with Real-Time Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive interface of vRx by Vicarius, which makes managing tasks straightforward. The real-time information is very valuable, and it's great that I can present data seamlessly to the board. I find the virtual patching for legacy operating systems incredibly useful for protecting old workstations from known exploits. The interface allows me to quickly identify and update workstations in operation, which is really helpful. I also appreciate the easy integration with my SIEM, which connects effortlessly with my SOC. Switching from QUALYS to vRx was a good decision because it's easier to use, and the role and permission features suit my team's needs well. The initial setup was a breeze—truly plug and play.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deploying scripts when we have Netskope installed can be tricky. We can't deploy the script directly and have to add the DNS on Netskope as a trusted DNS as a workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use vRx by Vicarius to manage security updates, solve network issues, get real-time asset information, deploy scripts, and protect legacy workstations. It helps me present data to the board and provides virtual patching for legacy OS.
Automated Updates with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of performing activities, which makes using vRx by Vicarius simple. I also appreciate that I can schedule updates, which allows for better task automation. Additionally, the implementation was not difficult, which is a positive point for the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that a user gets stuck to a console and can't remove it, and that the tasks don't appear, which doesn't allow me to know if they are being carried out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use vRx by Vicarius to perform scheduled updates of clients' applications and operating systems, which facilitates task automation. I like the ease of performing activities and being able to schedule updates to better automate tasks.
Unify Vulnerabilities and Remediation in a single console with great granularity
What do you like best about the product?
What I value the most is that it saves a lot of time. Instead of checking what each asset is missing, the system does it on its own. The 'Patchless Protection' feature seems great to me because it protects the programs without forcing me to restart the devices all the time, which is a relief for the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the inventory gets disorganized because the system duplicates equipment when there are changes in the system. This caused a failure in the automations. The bad part was that we had to contact support to have it fixed internally, as it was not something we could easily resolve ourselves from the console.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep applications and Windows updated without having to go from computer to computer. Before, it was very difficult to know what was missing to install; now I have everything centralized and can quickly see if I am protected. I use it to save time and not have to do the updates manually one by one.

I also appreciate the real options it offers to reduce risks, as it integrates event collection tools and allows for meeting accurate solution times. Additionally, the setup process was super easy thanks to the virtual training and education they offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
