A recently used area within the home page (or suggestions to implement things like this so users can leverage)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena PLM & QMS provides a consolidated place to find quality-related documentation.

Solid Core QMS, but Convoluted UI and Too Many Clicks

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Arena is a customizable QMS that allows organizations to implement an eQMS to satisfy regulatory requirements. In general, it does a good job of its core functionalities. In short, it's functional.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of customizations leave a lot to be desired. Also, Arena often requires multiple clicks for almost every function (even adding a part number into an engineering change), whereas other eQMS are more streamlined. Furthermore, the UI *and* UX are both a bit convoluted for several key functions and simply more difficult to understand. In short, while most major functions exist here, Arena does a poor job of providing an intuitive interface and workflow that assists its users in performing tasks efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena is an eQMS, which satisfies regulatory requirements for medical devices.

All-in-One Request and Change Management with Helpful Tracking

  • April 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to manage information about requests, changes, and related items all within a single software. Because everything is in one place, the revision history, change tracking, and approval tracking are especially helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few duplicate approvals—one in Requests and another in Changes. It would be helpful if, depending on the category of change, we could eliminate duplicate approvals from the same stakeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The change history for items is useful. Having BOMs available for all assemblies, along with the ability to compare BOMs, is very helpful. The redline feature also makes it easy to see the exact changes between revisions.

The Most Structured PLM and QMS Tool for Project Execution

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s the most structured PLM and QMS tool I’ve used for executing projects of any kind.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s difficult to get additional information because there are many tabs to go through before I can find what I’m looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped align worldwide teams to work on the same project, and it has one of the best UI interfaces.

Arena Makes PLM Changes Easy, With Great Access Control and Search

  • February 25, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Prior to using Arena we used to use 3DX a lot for PLM and Arena is so much better. You can make changes without up-reving a part. It's not just an engineering exclusive app, everyone in the company has access to it. It's easier for suppliers to pull the latest version of everything and we can control what they see. Watermarks on any printed files so we can track who accessed it and when. We can search items via any keyword whether it is featured in the title, description or any other attribute. It also simplifies the approval process, you can track who hasn't approved yet and nudged them and also you have particular stakeholders who force approve in case of an emergency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to see CAD models is a little annoying. I wish there was a small 3d viewer just to visualize the part and make sure we're looking at the correct one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency. Now everyone at all levels of the company can look up parts easily can look up parts and BOMs and status of changes.
Less email communications with suppliers. They don't need to confirm revs with us just retrieve whichever is the latest one in Arena.
The part numbering system is a lot more standardized thanks to the Arena part number format.

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly and easy to use, especially for first-time users. Over my four years as an end user, I haven’t experienced any problems or downtime. I also really like the newest version, since it provides more options and improved customization. New version has a very comfortable User Interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to see a custom widget size option for widget customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy document storage, revision and version control, and straightforward sharing across the organization, including with suppliers as well.

Easy Document Control with Clear Revisions, Approvals, and BOM Downloads

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to maintain documents with clear revision control, and approvals are straightforward to manage based on the hierarchy. It’s also easy to download the BOM for analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not able to copy items between the request (DRW) and change (DCO). I have to add those items manually each time, which is a tedious task. It would be great if we could copy the items from change to request, or vice versa.

Also, modifying the Bill of Materials for assembly items in the BOM tab is getting difficult. It would be much easier if we could replace items, reorder them, and edit quantities for all items within a single tab.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Change management, tracking, and BOM management are easier. Document control is also simpler across different file types, including PDFs, DXFs, and spreadsheets (forms).
