What do you like best about the product?
It does a good job of organizing large assemblies and storing all the information necessary to get products manufactured.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel like busy work when you have to get all the details in every part of a large project. Would be nice to have a way to speed that up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena solves the problem of storing all the information needed to manufacture products we are making and allows collaboration with my organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Capable of storing all the part numbers, change orders, quality alerts, training and documentation that we use. The search feature works well if you know what you are looking for. The response time while navigating the interface is quick and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to find some part numbers and documentation when I don't know the exact name or part number. I wish there was a GUI for browsing through our handful of large BOM structures. The AI is also not yet capable of inferring the meaning of questions based on our database. The AI needs too many specific details to find parts which increases the workload of using the AI to make it not worthwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is organizing the parts and documents needed for assembly and helps with troubleshooting problems with our machines. It also helps with change orders for making changes to these parts and documents. It also helps with making sure people have read certain documents.

What do you like best about the product?
Clean and intuitive interface that makes BOM, change management, and collaboration easy to navigate. Some advanced configuration screens can feel complex for new users. Strong integration capabilities with major ERP, CAD, and supply chain systems. Integration setup may require technical expertise depending on business requirements. AI capabilities are evolving, with opportunities to further enhance predictive analytics, automation, and intelligent search. Current functionality supports data visibility and decision-making but is not yet a major differentiator.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena PLM & QMS helps us manage product data, engineering changes, quality processes, and regulatory documentation in one centralized system. Before Arena, information was often spread across spreadsheets, emails, and shared drives, creating version control issues and making it difficult to maintain accurate product records. Manual documentation was creating errors. Streamlines Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and approvals, improving traceability and reducing delays in product updates.

My biggest frustration with Arena is that routine tasks can sometimes be more complicated and time-consuming than they need to be.

What do you like best about the product?
The overall usability is incredibly intuitive, offering a much simpler interface than competitors while delivering a massive return on investment. From a performance standpoint, it is flawless—I can keep dozens of tabs open simultaneously without any lag or crashing, which is absolutely required for managing complex engineering workflows. It is also great that they have integrated AI tools, which I regularly use to quickly track down specific part numbers and supplier items. The interconnectivity with other apps makes it a powerhouse. Even though we do not utilize every single feature, the ROI is undeniable, especially since we recently implemented the risk tool within supplier items, which has already saved us from costly issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
My primary frustration is browser compatibility; I had to move away from Google Chrome because it did not seem to interact smoothly with Arena, and I would strongly prefer to revert back to it. Additionally, while the new AI tools seem promising, there is a distinct lack of onboarding material for them. I would highly recommend adding dedicated video tutorials or detailed walkthroughs explaining their exact capabilities. I know these tools could be beneficial, but without proper guidance, I feel like I am not fully taking advantage of them yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena PLM resolves the critical disconnect between engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing. Historically, siloed information led to misalignments, creating a bottleneck where engineering was often held responsible for systemic communication breakdowns. By implementing Arena, we established a transparent, unified platform for product lifecycle management. Now, stakeholders across departments have direct insight into engineering's pipeline, mechanical modeling updates, and prototyping phases. Ultimately, Arena hasn't just improved our operational efficiency; it has fundamentally protected the engineering team by ensuring total organizational alignment.

Intuitive, Beginner-Friendly PLM Interface with Flexible Column Customization

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is incredibly easy to jump into for someone that is new to the PLM software. The interface is intuitive with everything you need right at the top. I also like the face that you can customize the columns within each world to make it useful for different roles. I have used the AI integration tool to do some advanced searching and it seems to work very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed a bug, when entering an item it takes a while to load up and when it does load my search box disappears. It would also be nice if it sent the approval prompt emails out more often to the approvers, I also don't love the format of the emails it send. The text is small and send it all in one graphic. I think this causing some to ignore the email, as opposed to if it was written in a true email paragraph format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The arena PLM is allowing us to manage all of our part numbers, including revision and BOM control. I am a mechanical engineer at the company and our department controls almost all of the documentation that is released to production. Arena helps us manage this documentation and keep record keeping of all revisions and engineering changes.

Clear Release Workflow and Best-in-Class Revision Tracking

What do you like best about the product?
I use Arena PLM to manage my files. In my experience, revision tracking is the best thing about Arena. I also find the process for including the relevant information needed to release files clear, and the way the process is tracked is easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience, I haven’t come across any real dislikes. My only suggestion is that when revising a document, for example from Rev A to Rev B, the attached file name still remains as Rev A in the file name field. It then has to be edited manually, as it doesn’t update automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One real problem for me has been tracking revisions of source files, which was taking too much time as part of our regular process. We improved this by adding them to Arena and using it to track both the latest source files and the output files. Since revision tracking is one of the most time-consuming parts of our work, this change has been a great benefit to our workflow.

I like the user interface! It is not too confusing.

Getting back to the arrival page of a part I searched for is not as intuitive. I find myself hitting the back button often to get back to it. You would think that the left-most tab on the part would be where you arrived at first!

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Arena PLM & QMS is its user-friendly interface and how seamlessly it integrates product lifecycle management with quality management processes. It offers strong document control, effective change management, and clear traceability, which makes cross-team collaboration more efficient and helps support compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes aren’t very intuitive and require multiple steps. Adding multiple items into the Arena is also very time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s easy to maintain the product history. Providing access control for the hierarchy is also straightforward.
