Workday is good for checking my schedule, making requests, and requesting time off ahead of time. I also like being able to see features and information about the company in the app.

There's nothing I found to dislike so far

It mainly helps me resolve scheduling issues, which I find really helpful.

Because it’s cloud-based, it provides automatic updates and flexible configuration. That said, advanced reporting and the initial implementation can be complex. Overall, its real-time reporting and analytics help enable quick, data-driven decisions without delays.

What I dislike about the Workday platform is that its advanced reporting and analytics can sometimes become complex for my team, since they require specialized knowledge. Additionally, occasional performance lag and a less intuitive experience for niche tasks can affect overall usability.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the problem of fragmented systems by bringing HR, finance, and planning data into one unified environment, eliminating data silos and inconsistencies. With real-time analytics, it also helps us make faster, data-driven decisions instead of relying on outdated reports. Overall, it has improved efficiency, provided better visibility into operations, and created a smoother experience for both employees and management.

I like that the Workday Platform allows me to have everything in one place, so I don't have to juggle multiple logins and platforms. This integration makes things simpler and more convenient through my job.

I think that it can be unintuitive and can be difficult to navigate.

Workday is a great all in one platform that integrates many different HR tools from payroll to training.

Nothing I can think of. It is easy to use and encompasses many aspects of our business needs.

Payroll, training, benefits, performance, career development and much more.

Very user friendly. Easy to make changes to tax withholding. Easy to access paystub.

Fairly limited options as far as viewing employee information.

Limited contact with having to contact HR for missing paystubs etc. Employee is able to pull up and print paystubs as many times as needed.

I appreciate how simple it is to clock in and out, and I also like that I can access my hours, forms, and documents even when I’m away from work.

Workday makes it easy for my team to manage time clocks, payroll, holiday balances, and various forms. I appreciate being able to log in from anywhere to view my payslips.

Has a lot of features. Likely has the ability to do everything in theory.

Things are oddly located and often have to be searched for. The UX is poor even if the UI is modern.

Its scalability, security, and configurable workflows support global operations, adapting to changing regulations and business needs effectively.

What do you dislike about the product?

Downsides of Workday include a complex, non-intuitive interface requiring significant training, high costs (especially for mid-market/smaller firms), lengthy implementations, and limitations in deep, specialized functions like manufacturing or robust recruiting (ATS) compared to dedicated solutions, often leading to user dissatisfaction and reliance on third-party integrations for a complete user experience. Its siloed data model for different modules also creates integration challenges for end-to-end processes, despite its "single source of truth" goal.
