Peace of Mind with Reliable Domain Protection
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Barracuda Domain Fraud Protection is the sense of security it offers. Having our domains continuously monitored and safeguarded against hijacking or spoofing allows us to concentrate on our business without the ongoing concern of fraudulent activity. The alerts are both clear and prompt, making it straightforward to react quickly if anything suspicious arises.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find most challenging about Barracuda Domain Fraud Protection is that the initial setup and configuration can be somewhat complicated. It requires a fair amount of time to learn about all the available options and to customize the settings to fit your needs. Although the product performs well once everything is properly configured, getting to that point involves a learning curve that can feel a bit steep at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Barracuda Domain Fraud Protection addresses the issue of domain spoofing and the unauthorized use of our brand online. By continuously monitoring and notifying us of any suspicious activity, it helps us prevent potential phishing attacks and protect our reputation. This results in enhanced security, reduced risks for both our clients and staff, and reassurance that our domains are being proactively safeguarded.
Excellent protection for a mid-sized non-profit.
What do you like best about the product?
Our school for autistic adults has benefitted immensely from the Barracuda products we use for cybersecurity, and their Domain Fraud Protection is an excellent addition to the essentials suite. It is relatively inexpensive compared to competitors and provides comprehensive DMARC services which protect our brand from being digitally impersonated and used to launch attacks. This was a real problem for us prior to purchasing Barracuda DFP, but has not been a worry in the 7+ years since we installed the software. Our IT specialist reports that their customer service is extremely responsive and that the software itself is simple to manage. Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside we've experienced to Barracuda Domain Fraud Protection is a slight network lag. This has not been too noticeable, however, and the extra protection has been well worth the additional system load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to suffer domain spoofing attacks multiple times a year, but Barracuda Domain Fraud Protection has successfully stopped virtually all of these kinds of attacks since we began using it on our network in 2015.
