What do you like best about the product?
Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) benefits include providing a single, software-defined storage platform with consistent, multi-protocol data access for applications across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. It offers automated, simplified deployment and management, enhanced data resilience with features like replication, cloud-portable storage for data analytics and AI/ML, and container-aware data protection for enhanced resilience and disaster recovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Disadvantages of Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) include a steep learning curve for new users, a complex platform with significant management overhead, and a less developed UI that requires more YAML and scripting for many tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ODF provides common protocols—block, file, and object—allowing a broad range of applications and workloads to access data with flexibility.

It helps teams develop and deploy applications quickly and efficiently across clouds. The applications can grow as per the needs in future once initially deployed.

Storage capacity at scale is solved by Red Hat Openshift Data Foundation and benefits to manage infrastructure with ease and disaster recovery solutions.
