Feature-Rich All-in-One, But a Steep Learning Curve at First
What do you like best about the product?
It offers a wide range of features for end users, all bundled together in a single package.
What do you dislike about the product?
OpManager has a bit of an intimidating learning curve at first, and it took me some time to get comfortable with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s allowing us to manage more devices than ever before, and it integrates easily with many providers through a range of monitoring protocols.
Clear, Organized Dashboard and Easy Device Integration
What do you like best about the product?
What I liked most about OP Manager Plus is the dashboard, because it clearly and neatly displays details for network devices, firewalls, and servers separately. Device integration is also very easy and doesn’t take much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing major to dislike about ManageEngine OP Manager Plus. That said, it would be even better if it included asset management features. We can manage network devices with this tool, but monitors, laptops, and other workstations can’t be managed. Aside from that limitation, I don’t have anything else to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of network devices such as switches, firewalls and routers, so we needed a tool to monitor them, generate monthly reports and identify if anything gets disconnected. For that purpose, we purchased OP Manager. Now, I do not have any issues and everything is clear.

ManageEngine OpManager helps to get all performance parameters of entire IT infra be its Server, Network or Storage. Advanced Alerting system helps to act on time. It provides deep insight to analyze performance issues and solve them on time.

Intelligent thresholds and AI/ML-based anomaly detection.
What do you dislike about the product?
In very large deployments, performance can degrade if the system isn’t properly tuned.

It’s particularly well suited for IT teams that manage complex, multi-vendor infrastructures.

Like the stability of the product. But requires more support for advanced synthetics

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very user-friendly, efficient, reliable and cost-effective networking management tool. Easy to integrate with the running network. You can be up & running with this tool in no time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as yet. I have been using this tool for more than a year now and I have not come across any issue as such.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any minor issues like interface down, connectivity issues are immediately known, and action can be taken accordingly. We can proactively monitor parameters such as bandwidth, memory and CPU utilization and can take action to mitigate these issues before they impact the network.

Some areas in OpManager can feel a bit clunky, especially advanced configurations and customization. The alerting system, while powerful, can become noisy without careful tuning. Scalability and performance may require additional setup in large environments. Also, licensing and add-on costs can get expensive as you expand features.

ManageEngine OpManager helps by providing centralized monitoring of all network devices, reducing the need to check multiple tools. It quickly detects outages, performance issues, and bandwidth bottlenecks, which minimizes downtime and speeds up troubleshooting.
