OpManager: Broad Monitoring, Solid Integrations, and a Straightforward UI

    Reviewed on Aug 14, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
OpManager is an excellent jack-of-all-trades platform that provides a broad range of monitoring capabilities across different platforms, along with a solid set of integrations with external tools for additional customization. The interface and overall UI are straightforward to understand and use, especially when compared with other solutions currently in our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product can sometimes feel like it lacks deeper, drill-down detail—for example, the ability to hone in on a single IP across Netflow data. There are also a few minor pain points, such as not having historical, graphical widgets available for dashboards. And while the AI-driven forecasting is great overall, some of the alerts it generates don’t always make much sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve always needed solid observability into our IT infrastructure, whether it’s the network, servers, storage, or anything else. Some other products only monitor a subset of specific devices. OpManager, on the other hand, is truly vendor-neutral and can speak a variety of languages to make that possible. As a result, full-stack monitoring feels seamless and far less daunting or challenging than it used to be. On top of that, the performance of the service—across the sub-services it offers and across our entire inventory—is genuinely impressive.

Superb Customer Service and a Clean, Easy-to-Navigate Dashboard

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Customer Service is superb and very helpful. I like how clean the dashboard is and the ease to find items in the menu(s).
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily an OpManager issue, but the learning curve on moving from our previous product and trying to implement the same items we had in that environment. It is not as intuitive as I'd like it to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently notifying us on up/down devices/services at our remote locations.

Solid Out-of-the-Box Features with Minimal Configuration

    Reviewed on Jul 27, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
We replaced it with Nagios XI, and it comes with several out-of-the-box features without requiring a lot of additional manual configuration. Overall, it’s a good tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep initial learning curve: Onboarding and configuring the platform take significant time and often require careful fine-tuning. Alert fatigue: If the initial thresholds aren’t set well, it can quickly generate an excessive number of false or redundant notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solves fragmented IT visibility, alert noise, and blind spots in short-lived network events by providing unified full-stack observability, AI-driven event correlation, and real-time streaming telemetry

Centralized NOC Dashboards and Real-Time Monitoring Made Simple

    Reviewed on Jul 21, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about ManageEngine OpManager is its centralized NOC-style dashboards and real-time monitoring capabilities. The customizable drag-and-drop widgets, color-coded status indicators, and floor/heat maps make tracking the health of servers, switches, firewalls, and routers simple at a glance. Automated device discovery gets new hardware monitored quickly, and the seamless integration with other ManageEngine modules (like ServiceDesk Plus and NetFlow Analyzer) provides an end-to-end IT management experience without needing third-party plugins
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside of OpManager Nexus is the upfront effort required to tune alert thresholds so you don’t end up with notification overload. Some of the deeper configuration areas—such as custom SNMP rules and report templates—also feel cluttered and harder to navigate than the primary NOC views. In addition, on-premise installations can demand substantial hardware resources, since telemetry data accumulates in the database over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpManager helped us address three major business challenges:

Pricing / ROI: It replaced our expensive legacy monitoring tools with a more cost-effective, device-based licensing model, which significantly improved our return on investment.

Support / Onboarding: Its automated discovery features made onboarding quick and painless, and we were backed up by responsive vendor customer service.

AI / Intelligence: The machine-learning adaptive thresholds reduced our alert fatigue by automatically distinguishing genuine anomalies from routine traffic spikes.

Clear Dashboards and Proactive Alerts for Full Infrastructure Visibility

    Reviewed on Jul 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about OpManager Nexus is the visibility it gives us across our infrastructure from a single place. The dashboards are clear and easy to understand, the alerts help us stay proactive when issues come up, and monitoring device performance has become much simpler. Overall, it reduces manual effort and helps our team troubleshoot problems faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main area where I think OpManager Nexus could improve is the learning curve during the initial setup. Because there are so many features available, it takes a while to configure everything correctly and really get the most out of the platform. More helpful out-of-the-box templates, along with simpler customization options, would make the overall experience much smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpManager Nexus helps us stay on top of our IT infrastructure by giving us a single platform to monitor devices, network performance, and potential issues. Before we started using it, spotting problems across different systems took more manual effort and often took longer than it should. Now we have clearer visibility, faster alerts, and the ability to troubleshoot issues before they affect users. Overall, it has helped our team reduce downtime, improve response times, and manage the environment more efficiently.

OpManager Nexus Delivers Powerful Full-Stack, Single-Pane Monitoring at Enterprise Scale

    Reviewed on Jul 14, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Single-pane-of-glass monitoring – I can monitor networks, servers, applications, traffic, configurations, and security-related information from one console.

Full-stack observability – It helps correlate issues across different layers of the IT stack, which makes root-cause analysis much faster.

operations – Built-in AI/ML capabilities assist with anomaly detection, event correlation, and faster incident resolution.

Enterprise scalability – It’s suitable for large environments with thousands of devices and interfaces.

Hybrid infrastructure support – It works across on-premises, virtual, cloud, and containerized environments, which is important for modern enterprises.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feature depth vs. specialized tools – While Nexus spans many operational domains, more specialized solutions can still provide deeper, more mature capabilities in specific areas. If an organization has advanced APM, SIEM, or observability requirements, it may still prefer to use dedicated products alongside Nexus rather than relying on Nexus alone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility across the IT stack – Consolidates network, server, application, and infrastructure monitoring into a single platform.

Slow root-cause analysis – Correlates data from different systems to help IT teams identify the source of issues more quickly.

Tool sprawl and operational complexity – Reduces the need to manage multiple disconnected monitoring solutions, which helps simplify day-to-day operations.

Unexpected outages and performance degradation – Uses monitoring, alerting, and AI-driven insights to detect anomalies before they impact users.

Hybrid environment management challenges – Provides visibility across on-premises, virtual, cloud, and containerized infrastructure.
